摘要: In order to retain a vehicle when starting uphill, vehicle speed (VREF), brake pedal actuation (BLS), starting moment (AM), state of operation of the vehicle engine (MO), actuation of a parking brake (FB) and actuation of the retaining system (EAS) are detected. When the retaining system is activated and the vehicle speed lies below a threshold value (VREF = 0), the braking power or pressure is maintained (case A) if the brake pedal is actuated and no starting moment is sensed. The braking power is increased (case B) when the driving engine is switched off (MO = 0) and neither the brake pedal (BLS = 0) nor the parking brake (FB = 0) are actuated, or when the engine is switched on (MO = 1) and neither brake pedal actuation (BLS = 0) nor starting moment (AM = 0) are detected. The braking power is reduced (case C) when the engine is switched off (MO = 0), the brake pedal is not actuated (BLS = 0) and the parking brake is applied (FB = 1) or when the engine is switched on (MO = 1) and a starting moment is sensed (AM = 1). When the vehicle speed exceeds the threshold value (VREF = 1) and/or the circuit breaker is actuated (EAS = 0), the retaining system is switched off. A warning signal (WN) may be triggered by means of a door contact (Tk) and/or seat contact (Sk).

摘要: A hydraulic brake system with electronic anti-lock control consists essentially of a multi-circuit braking pressure generator (1), electrically controllable hydraulic valves (8-11), low pressure reservoirs (12, 13, 26) for the pressure medium released in the brake release phase, wheel sensors and circuits to evaluate the sensor signals and to generate braking pressure control signals. The braking pressure in the individual wheels can be individually controlled by the hydraulic valves (8-11). The level in the low-pressure reservoirs (12, 13, 26) or the residual volume are continuously monitored and the flow of pressure medium into these low-pressure reservoirs during a control process is modified depending on the control period and the level. Initially there are no restrictions on the anti-lock function, while the volume throughput is drastically reduced during regulation.

摘要: A circuitry for regulating braking systems of motor vehicles having an antilocking system and/or a drive slip control has circuits for processing sensor signals and for generating brake pressure control signals for piloting the hydraulic valves located in the hydraulic lines of the braking system. The valve control signals are derived from the sensor signals by means of a single-chip microcontroller (1) that processes the data in two successive or time-offset calculation steps carried out according to different algorithms. The results of the calculation steps are temporarily stored and compared to check whether they match. When the results differ from each other, their deviation is signalled to the monitoring circuit (2). In addition, the microcontroller (1) is continuously tested by turn-on tests and during its operation by cyclical tests, self-tests, signature analyses and other known testing processes or error recognition processes.

摘要: A circuit for detecting defects in wheel sensors contains circuits which process and evaluate the sensor signals (s1-s4), determine the speed (vRmax, vRmin), deceleration and acceleration (aR) of the individual wheels, and compare these values with each other and with predetermined threshold values (a0, v0, v1, -a1). When signals or signal combinations typical of a sensor defect are found, the control is deactivated after a predetermined interval (T, T1+T2). If the measured acceleration values (aR) are below an overspeed threshold (a0) and the speed of one of the other wheels is below a lower speed threshold (v0), the control is deactivated once the speed of a wheel (vRmax) passes an upper speed threshold (v1). Should the measured acceleration (aR) lie above the overspeed threshold (a0), and the measured speed (vRmin) lie below the lower speed threshold (v0), a timing is activated as soon as the measured speed (vRmax) exceeds the upper speed threshold (v1). The control is deactivated after a predetermined interval has elapsed.

摘要: A switch (10) for use on the steering column of a vehicle includes lever operated switch members controlling vehicle operating circuits. A switch lever (16) is mounted in a housing (12) attachable to the steering column of a vehicle for movement in one of two mutually separate planes and/or rotation about a longitudinal axis extending through the switch lever. Actuators (26,28,30) are mounted in the housing (12) and are independently responsive to one of the modes of movement of the switch lever (16) for controlling a separate switch member (34,36,38) mounted in the housing. Each switch member carries electric contacts which are selectively engaged by contacts carried by a driven member in the switch member as the switch member switches position in response to movement by the associated actuator to effect switching of the connections for a particular vehicle operating circuit.
