The solid track according to the invention is characterised in that the concrete strip is a profiled concrete strip (7), in which the course of the solid track in terms of curvature and lateral inclination are reflected and in that in the region of adjacent end faces (13) of two neighbouring segments (2), the track is equipped with a device (200) that spans both end faces (13) and absorbs any alteration in the position of the adjacent end faces (13). This prevents the forces acting on the profiled concrete strip (7) from having a critical effect and does not impair the action of the anti-friction layer (10).

Shell shapes which run transversely with respect to the subsequent rail profile are provided on the shell base, for seating benches (26).

The boards leave the necessary gaps free between the tracks (7) and the paths (9) which are necessary for the operation of the fixed road surface (2) or which do not significantly hinder vehicular or pedestrian access to the rescue and escape path thus produced.

The inventive track is characterised in that the tunnel tube (1) closely surrounds the vehicle (2) and the air driven out by the vehicle (2) as it passes through the tube is conducted through openings of the vehicle (2) and/or through at least one air channel (8) located outside or inside the tube (1) and connected thereto (1). The invention also relates to a method for operating one such track.
