A liquid discharge method for discharging liquid by use of a liquid discharge head provided with liquid discharge nozzles (3) having a plurality of electrothermal converting members (4,5) capable of forming bubbles for discharging a liquid droplets comprises the step of using a driving condition in a range where the discharge speed of droplets is made substantially constant, while the amount of droplet is made changeable with the timing difference of driving when droplets are discharged by driving a plurality of the electrothermal converting members one after another. With the adoption of the method thus structured, high quality prints can be obtained without deviation of impact positions irrespective of the dot diameters, larger or smaller, for a significant enhancement of image representation.

With the method thus structured, it becomes possible to carry liquid efficiently and discharge it from each of the discharge openings stably with high discharge force in good discharge efficiency.

A liquid discharging method for discharging liquid by displacing a movable member by means of a bubble created on the bubble generating area, which the free end of the movable member faces, comprises the step of promoting the movement of the free end of the movable member by means for promoting the displacement of the free end thereof. With the adoption of this method, the pressure of the bubble that acts upon the free end of the movable member enables the movable member to form an appropriate displacing configuration to lead the pressure exerted at the time of foaming and the development of the bubble in the discharging direction efficiently. At the same time, the displacement of the movable member is performed smoothly, thus contributing to enhancing the durability of the movable member.
