An injection blow molding system includes an injection molding station 22, a first delivery section 24, a cooling station 26, a heating station 30, a second delivery section 32 and a plurality of blow molding stations 34. The injection molding station 22 is designed to simultaneously injection mold M rows of N preforms 36 arranged in a second direction B perpendicular to a first direction A in which the preforms 36 are carried. The first delivery section 24 is designed to remove the M rows of preforms 36 injection molded by the injection molding station 22 through a removing mechanism 102 in their upright state while decreasing the pitch in the rows. The preforms 36 are inverted with the column pitch being changed by an inverting mechanism 104 before they are delivered to the cooling station in their inverted state. The cooling and heating stations 26, 30 are designed to cool and heat one row of N preforms 36 while parallel carrying them along a first carrying chain 200. The second delivery section 32 is designed to deliver the preforms 36 to two blow molding stations while they are maintained in their inverted state. Each of the blow molding stations 34 is designed to stretch blow mold the N/2 preforms into containers at the same time.

Furthermore, forward end blocks (172) provided at the forward ends of drafting rods (170) are provided close to the center of the longitudinal axis of the preform (70) and drafting operations by the drafting rods (170) and blown air are performed in each of areas defined by the inner walls (78) to thereby make biaxial stretching blow-in molding of the synthetic resin vessel, thus molding the synthetic resin vessel having the inner walls without impairing the appearance thereof.

A method of easily molding a heat-resistant container (2) which has a heat-resistant bottom portion (12), including a steps of primary blow-molding for molding a preform into a primary molded article, a step of heat treatment for the primary molded article, and a step of final blow-molding for molding the primary molded article which has been subjected the heat treatment into a final container (2), and a mold used for the method. In the step of primary blow-molding a raised-bottom portion (12) is formed in the primary molded article using a raised-bottom mold (44,68,80), and this raised-bottom portion is of substantially the same shape as a raised-bottom portion (12) of the final container (2). The preform has sufficient heat for a complicated mold, which thereby allows a raised-bottom portion (12) of some complication and with adequate heat-resistance to be formed without difficulty. The shape of the raised-bottom portion (12) of the primary molded article is maintained, and using another raised-bottom molds, heat treatment and final blow-molding are carried out.
