A method and apparatus for manufacturing pressurized packages capable of obtaining gas displacement pressurized canned goods with high accuracy of internal pressure by atomizing liquid nitrogen, and supplying it together with low temperature vaporized gases to a head space of a can. A spray device assembly (10) for atomizing and spraying the liquid nitrogen is provided in an opening of the bottom of a liquefied gas storage tank (1) formed as a vacuum heat insulating structure. The spray device assembly (10) is constituted such that a valve (2) for controlling the flow rate of liquid nitrogen, a spray nozzle (3), a liquid nitrogen flowpassage (4) extending from the valve (2) to the spray nozzle (3), a nozzle cooling tank (5) for cooling the flowpassage, and a purge device for cutting an outer peripheral portion of a nozzle and an outlet portion off from the air, so as to prevent them from being frosted, are integrally mounted on a spray body 6. The nozzle cooling tank (5) always cools the pipe 13 and the nozzle 3 by liquid nitrogen, and enables supplying of the liquid nitrogen to the nozzle having a temperature gradient to the neighborhood of a boiling point, without boiling and vaporizing it from the tank to the nozzle. The liquid nitrogen supplied while preventing of being vaporized to an orifice inlet of the spray nozzle allows to pass through a nozzle orifice in the liquid state to release into the atmosphere, thereby giving rise to a rapid vaporizing expansion immediately after moving out of the nozzle orifice, so that other liquid nitrogen still in the liquid phase state is atomized.

The present invention relates to a method of blow-molding a hollow vessel, wherein when a nozzle (1) for blowing air is thrust into a parison extruded from an extruder to thereby blow the air thereinto, the air is blown at least downward into the parison, an opening (8) is formed in the parison in the vicinity of a blow nozzle thrust-in portion (7) or thereabove after the hollow vessel is shaped by the blown air, and the blown air is circulated in the hollow vessel and then discharged therefrom. The invention also relates to a blow air cylinder suitably used for said method and has a particular construction wherein there is provided the blow nozzle (1) having an opening capable of blowing air at least downwardly at a rate of 30 % or above of the whole flow quantity of the blown air. The invention makes it possible to shorten the cooling time of the molded item after blow-molding and produce molded items excellent in accuracy of dimensions effectively.

Further provided is a packaging container for a microwave oven, sealed by heat-sealing plastic films and having a steam vent seal section having a weakened section. The steam vent seal section has mark emerging means, where, when the steam vent seal section is separated and opened, the means shows different surface- and back face-wrapping materials constituting the steam vent seal section, enabling the recognition of the opening.

Further, in order to suppress the unevenness of the strength of sealing with a cover member and stably attain the high sealability, the projecting portion is deformed at the time of heat sealing with the cover member so as to form a resin piece protruding toward the interior of the container while being substantially appressed against the upper surface of an opening rim part. The formed resin piece couples with a sealant layer of the cover member.

A heat resistant polyester container comprising a body whose temperature (T) exhibited when the shrinkage factor of the formula: shrinkage factor (%) = (extent of shrinkage /gauge length) x 100 (1) (wherein the extent of shrinkage is measured by TMA under such conditions that no preliminary load is applied and the temperature rise rate from 30°C is 3°C/min with respect to a specimen cut from a body of polyester container so as to have a gauge length of 20 mm) is 0.66% is 120°C or higher. The polyester container is excellent in heat resistance, enables performing retort sterilization at high temperature after charging and sealing of food, beverages, etc., and exhibits such a high heat resistance that, even after the retort sterilization, the body of the container is not deformed.
