Der Gurtaufroller ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Kipphebel (44) vorgesehen ist, der von der Steuerscheibe (28) zwischen einer Freigabestellung, in der er nicht mit der Auslösescheibe (14) zusammenwirkt, und einer Blockierstellung verschwenkbar ist, in der er in die Auslösescheibe (14) eingreift, wodurch die Gurtspule (12) drehfest blockiert werden kann.     摘要: A retractor for a vehicle safety belt comprises a housing (2), a spindle (9) rotatably mounted within the housing (2) and to which one end of a safety belt (4) is attached, the spindle (9) being spring-biased for retracting the safety belt (4) so that the belt is wound around the spindle (9). The retractor has a sensor (12) adapted to provide a signal indicative of whether the safety belt is retracted and not in use or is withdrawn from the spindle (9) and in use. The sensor (12) provides said signal in dependence upon the length of safety belt withdrawn from the spindle (9), with means (10) transmitting movement of the spindle to an element (17) which activates the sensor, said means comprising a gear train (13,14,15,17), one component (13) of which is coupled directly to the spindle. The means which transmit movement of the spindle to the element (18) which activates the sensor (12) cause the element to adopt a unique position upon withdrawal of any one particular length of safety belt.

    摘要: A system is provided for utilizing spool movement information in a motorized seat belt (MSB) control system algorithm to achieve better levels of comfort and safety. The MSB control system algorithm controls execution of multiple modes including a no friction mode, a stowage mode, a slack reduction mode, an out of position warning mode, a medium pull-back mode, and a high pull-back mode. The MSB control system algorithm also controls execution of a low power mode initiated after the other vehicle modules are put to sleep to provide the ability to stow the seat belt after the vehicle has been idling for some period of time. The MSB control system algorithm also controls belt monitoring functions defined based on a buckle switch state that indicates the buckled or unbuckled state of the seat belt. Belt monitoring consists of spool rotation being converted to counts based on the resolution provided by the spool sensor.
