摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for providing data connectivity with various types of data session continuity. One apparatus 200 includes a processor 205 that receives a data session request, identifies a required continuity type based on the data session request, and establishes a PDU session having the required continuity type. The required continuity type may be selected from a plurality of continuity type supported by a mobile communication network 312. The request is associated with a required level of a connectivity for the service. The required level relates to likelihood of maintaining the connectivity towards a first network node (140). The second network node (150) further receives the required level of the connectivity for the service. The second network node (150) sends, to a radio base station (120), a request for setting parameters of the S1 bearer or the Iu bearer. Corresponding computer programs and computer program products are also disclosed.

摘要: In some implementations, a telecommunications network can include an anchoring network device. The anchoring network device can receive, from a first party of a communication session, a service message including information of a first session attribute and associated with identification information of a party of the communication session. The anchoring network device can retrieve, from an authorization registry, authorization information corresponding to the identification information. In response to the authorization information indicating the first session attribute is not permitted, the anchoring network device can determine a status message based at least in part on the service message and transmit the status message via a communications interface. The status message can include a service-failure message or a second service message including information of a second, different session attribute.

摘要: A method and apparatus for home Node-B (HNB) mobility with a local IP access (LIPA) packet data network (PDN) connection are described. A target home node-B (HNB) may receive a handover request message from a source HNB to handover a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). A path switch request may be transmitted to a local gateway (LGW) to change a downlink data path towards the target HNB in response to the handover request message. The LGW may act as a mobility management and local mobility anchor for the handover; and informing an HNB gateway (GW) about the handover so that the downlink data path for core network (CN) traffic is modified towards the target HNB.

摘要: Quality of Service functionality is provided for Machine to machine device communications that allows a single IMS session to support a plurality of different data streams. In one embodiment a single IMS session is used to support a plurality of different data streams that arise from a single application type, while in another embodiment, a single IMS session is used to support a plurality of different data streams across a plurality of different devices and applications. Through the use of a single IMS session, signaling is reduced and QoS can be offered without impacting a large number of nodes. An IMS User Agent is deployed to aid in providing this functionality.
