摘要: An ornamental including a main body, at least one folding-element, having a pivoting-side and a tip disposed oppositely to the pivoting-side, and a folding mechanism. The folding mechanism facilitates the user to pivot the at least one folding- element with respect to the main body and thereby, change the peripheral shape of the ornamental article. When all of the folding-elements are unfolded, the ornamental article is in an open state. When all of the folding-elements are folded, the ornamental article is in a closed state. Preferably, the ornamental article further includes holding mechanisms, such as magnets, for maintaining each one of the triangular folding-elements in either an open state position or a closed state position. Optionally, a holding mechanism is a pair of magnets having opposing polarity, such that the magnetic force attracts the magnets to each other.

摘要: A method and article of constructing a three dimensional decorative object (10) from a foil sheet (18) and a fabric overlay (24) are the subject of the invention. The method includes shaping the foil sheet (18) into a three dimensional configuration, providing the foil sheet (18) with an adhesive coating (20) and adhering a fabric overlay (24) to the foil. The foil sheet (18) has a fabric overlay (24) adhered to one side and is utilized to form a three dimensional decorative object (10) by shaping the sheet (18) into the desired three dimensional object and then providing a decorative finish to the fabric side of the sheet (18). The method may include applying a layer of plaster (30) on top of the fabric overlay. An article useful in constructing a three dimensional object (10) is also encompassed by the invention. The article comprises a foil sheet (18) having a fabric overlay (24) adhered to one side. The article of the invention may also be presented in a kit which includes a foil sheet (18) having a fabric overlay (24) adhered to one side, a quantity of a pliable material sufficient to cover at least a portion of the fabric overlay and instructions for preparing the pliable material for application to the fabric.

摘要: The invention relates to a malleable material which can be manipulated by a person such as a child, directly or via forming apparatus, said material substantially retaining the shape to which the same has been formed, following manipulation. The material is formed from a base formed from one or more silicone materials. In one embodiment the material includes a glow pigment which causes the material to fluoresce when exposed to light, such as UV or near UV light. In one embodiment the material includes a colour pigment which determines the condition of the material in a normal condition and, when a glow component is also provided, in addition to the material being caused to fluoresce, the colour of the material may also be caused to change colour.

摘要: To prepare a decorated printed matter, which excels in the visibility of the spin line or hairline pattern and which gives an appropriate metallic luster. A decorated printed matter which comprises: a plastic plate 1 with a light permeability, the plastic plate 1 is made of poly carbonate and is provided a convexo-concave pattern consists of a plurality of fine grooves 2 in the form of spin line on a rear-side surface 1b thereof; an ink coating 3 covering the convexo-concave pattern; and the ink coating 3 is formed by removing a solvent from an ink composition coated on the rear-side surface 1b of the plastic plate, the ink composition includes a carbon black and a binder; the average ratio of carbon black to binder is determined such that the distribution of the black pigment in the ink coating becomes the distribution by which an incident light incoming into the resin substrate from the front-side surface thereof reflects at an interface between the resin substrate and the ink coating.

摘要: To produce the wall (1), gypsum panels (2) are mounted adjacent to each other on a frame (4). Instead of forming a strip made of flat gypsum panels against the frame on site, use is made of two-dimensionally shaped profile strips (3) which are made of plastic foam. In contrast to conventional finishing strips, these profile strips (3) are mounted not on the gypsum panels (2) but on the frame (4), in particular with one edge adjacent to one edge of the gypsum panels. A first part (9) of the visible side of the profile strip (3) here lies in the extension of the surface formed by the gypsum panel (2) while a second part (10) of the visible side of the profile strip (3) protrudes from this surface. The profile strip (3) is chamfered at the edge adjacent to the gypsum panel (2) to form a chamfered edge zone (8). With the profile strip in mounted state, this chamfered edge zone forms a groove (11) that is filled with caulking agent (12). The new method allows, on production of a wall with gypsum panels, the integration of a strip in the gypsum panels in a simpler and less time-consuming manner.

摘要: A building system comprising rectangular strips (1), that can be attached to each other using tabs (2) and notches (3). The building system uses software to simulate and print the models. The software manipulates similar rectangular strips. The surface of the rectangular strips, of the building system as well as the software, comprises a plurality of folding lines (5, 6), regularly distributed over that entire surface. Each strip (1) can be folded along these folding lines to become a curved surface in space. Several curved strips (1) can be attached to each other to form a 3D-model, both physically with the building system as well as virtually with the software. The software can be used to print the model with an digital image. In particular one can deform an ordinary photo to a realistic 3D-image.
