The storage transport system further transfers retrieved products (P) via at least one passage channel (D) to an intermediate storage station (Z) of a central conveyor technology picking station, from where retrieved products (P) are fed manually, or automatically by means of robots of a central conveyor technology (ZF), onto a central conveyor of the central conveyor technology (ZF) for picking, and the product (P) is retrieved from the same storage location of the shelf (R1 to R4), regardless of whether a product (P) is to be picked at the goods-to-order-picker picking station or at the central conveyor technology picking station.
