A cutting apparatus is triggered automatically by a controller, only on receipt of the first and second control signals from the laser sensors 24, 25. At a separating station, the leading edge 16 of the skin length 15 is detected by a first laser sensor 27 to provide a first control signal. The trailing edge 12 of the skin length 10 is detected by a second laser sensor 28 to provide a second control signal. A separating apparatus is triggered automatically by a controller, only on receipt of the first and second control signals from the laser sensors 27, 28.

La feuille est appliquée flottante avec relativement peu de pression de serrage des rouleaux. Un dispositif d'application contrôlable comportant un dispositif de réglage de la traction des feuilles permet d'acheminer la feuille jusqu'aux rouleaux de contrecollage sans tension. La vitesse de traitement et la longueur de la feuille peuvent être introduites par ordinateur. De là, la séquence de la puissance d'application ainsi que la séquence d'un dispositif à couper à l'eau peuvent être contrôlées par l'intermédiaire d'un générateur incrémentiel de valeurs approprié à partir de l'élément de commande principale. Il est ainsi possible de régler des vitesses de traitement comprises entre 60 et 100 mètres à la minute. La qualité reste bonne, même à la vitesse maximale.
