    摘要: A bushing assembly (42) adapted for application in vehicle suspension systems (10) includes an outer, generally cylindrical bushing member (50), an inner generally cylindrical bushing member (52) arranged concentrically within the outer member (50). The two bushing members (50, 52) are interconnected by an elastomeric member (54) disposed there between and bonded thereto to permit limited rotational displacement between the external and internal bushing members (50, 52). An angular position sensor (62) is at least partially embedded within the elastomeric member (54) and operated to produce an output signal indicative of the relative angular position of the external and internal bushing members (50, 52). The sensor (62) includes a stator assembly (102) including a permanent magnet (106), a galvanomagnetic sensing element (108) and a flux guide (110, 112) defining at least one pole face (122, 124), and a rotor (104) including a flux guide (126, 128) defining a second pole face (130, 132). An air gap (Ra, Rb) between the two pole faces (122, 124 & 130, 132) varies dimensionally as a function of the relative angular position of the stator assembly (102) and rotor (104).
