The shiftable member receives fluid flow from a radially outboard direction and is sealed with a cup portion receiving the shiftable member to define a cup cavity. A module exterior surface is separated from a sprinkler housing to define a vent cavity. A pressure release vent communicates with the cup cavity, a vent channel between the cup (124) portion and the exterior surface, the vent cavity, and the exterior environment. The vent cavity and cup portion provide receptacles for debris deposit. Ribs (128) around an opening of the vent channel (260) with the vent cavity generally prevent debris from entering the vent channel.

The invention pertains to a precontrolled 3-way pressure control valve with a direct-control pressure valve (45) as pilot valve (45) and with a main valve (9). In a valve housing (10) of the main valve (9) there is a valve bore (11) in which a control piston (12) is moved axially. Said control piston (12) is acted upon in opposite directions by pressures derived from the pressure in the control connection (A) and the pressure setting of the pilot valve (45) such that it experiences an imbalance of forces when the pressure at the control connection (A) deviates from the control pressure predetermined by the pressure setting of the pilot valve (45). To create a pressure control valve with a stable action, the control piston (12) is designed as a hollow piston with a hollow chamber (30), the wall of which has a number of oblong, axially running through-holes (32) distributed over the circumference of the control piston (12), enabling the individual connections (A, P, T) of the main valve to be combined. Furthermore, the valve is subject to low-pressure control, wherein control oil is removed at an axial end of the hollow chamber (30) in the control piston (12) and flows through a control nozzle (41) into a pressure chamber (42) in front of one end face of the control piston (12), connecting to the pilot valve (45) in the form of a pressure limiting valve (45). Der Kolben (9) kann drei unterschiedliche Arbeitspositionen einnehmen, wobei in einer ersten Position die Druckentlastung bewerkstelligt und in einer dritten Position für eine Druckbegrenzung im System Sorge getragen wird.
