摘要:
A drive control apparatus (1) automatically stops a drive power source operation of a vehicle under a predetermined operation condition. When a predetermined time period lapses after the automatic stop operation of the drive power source under a condition that a key switch (25) is still held operated, a power supply from a battery (21) to the drive control apparatus (1) is also automatically stopped. The predetermined time period is set to a time period that is supposed necessary until a driver or the like notices the stop of the drive power source and turns off the key switch. Thus, after the drive power source is forced to stop, the battery (21) is protected from unnecessary power consumption by various devices in the vehicle.

A ballast protecting device is connected between an AC input voltage and a ballasted High Intensity Discharge lamp. The device includes a voltage sensing block (1), a current sensing block (2), a pulse forming block (3), a switch block (4) and a micro-controller unit (MCU). The pulse forming block (3) converts positive half cycles of the voltage and current provided by the voltage and current sensing blocks to square wave pulses, and the MCU performs a phase angle comparison between generated pulses. Upon lamp malfunction, ballast current is phase shifted. Current may also be phase shifted when there is a radical change in the input voltage. As a trend of the phase shift between current and voltage is determined by the MCU, a ballast disconnect decision is made, and the MCU actuates the switch block (4) to disconnect the connected ballast and malfunctioning lamp.

Voltage drop detector adjustable for different nominal current voltages, formed by a functional assembly that comprises an input voltage rectifier stage (DB), after which a cascade sequence of Zener diodes (DZ1, DZ2, DZ3) is arranged, which are connectable selectively in common series or partially, by means of circuit breakers (JP1, JP2), with the power circuit of a relay (RL), so that when the voltage drops below a given value, the relay (RL) is tripped, activating the current cutoff in the installation.

An under- and/or overvoltage release (1) is provided with a comparator circuit (2) for comparing a voltage (U1) to be monitored with a preferably adjustable voltage threshold value (U2), and a combination circuit (3), which logically combines the state signal (A) of the comparator circuit (2) with a comparison signal (B) and, in the event of the pulse duration (TA) of the state signal (A) deviating from the pulse duration (T1) of the comparison signal (B), generates an undervoltage pulse (Su) or an overvoltage pulse (SUE) for generating a release pulse (PA).

A direct current power supply device is provided which generates an alarm signal (19,20) when a power failure occurs in an alternating current power supply (2) connected as an input to the device. A power failure detector circuit (3) is connected at the input of the device and signals the failure of the AC power supply (2). In order to compensate for different time delays in the fall of the DC output due to varying loads at the output of the device, a reset or alarm signal generating circuit (17) is used which is controllable in accordance with the size of the load (10). This circuit (17) receives as an input, a signal (4) identifying a power failure from the power failure detector circuit (3) and a signal (16) identifying the load current value from a load current value detector circuit (15), connected between the load (10) and the AC/DC converter (2). The alarm or reset signal generating circuit (17), using analog or digital components, generates an alarm or reset signal (19,20) at a timing determined by the size of the load (10).
