The transition portion includes a reinforcing sleeve. A heat exchanger formed from the tube and a method of forming a heat exchanger tube also are disclosed. The tube is useful in making a heat exchanger configured to operate at high pressures without mechanical failure.

The present invention relates to a method for preparing amorphous lercanidipine and, more particularly, to a method for preparing amorphous iercanidipine comprising the steps of: (1) dissolving lercanidipine in an organic solvent to form a solution; (2) forming precipitates by dropping the solution into'an organic solvent selected from the group consisting of cyclohexane, cyclopentane, hexane, and petroleum ether and stirring; (3) filtering the precipitates, washing with the organic solvent used in step 2 and vacuum drying. According to the present invention, amorphous lercanidipine having an excellent solubility and bioavailability may be prepared in high purity and yield by properly controlling major solvents and their volume ratio.
