A storage assembly (10) for an electronic device, such as a telephone handset (12). The storage assembly (10) is comprised of a tube housing (16), carrier tray (40) and tray locking mechanism (52). The tube housing (16) receives the telephone handset (12) forcing the carrier tray (40) to the full aft and locked position. At this point, the telephone handset (12) is completely stored inside the tube housing (16). A push-button release mechanism (20) provides a means for the user to eject the telephone handset (12) from the tube (16) when needed. The entire tube housing (16) is designed to fit in the armrest (22) of a seat on an airplane, train, car or any other desired seat. This allows storage of the telephone handset while maximizing the available space immediately around the seat used for other purposes.

The speaker installation structure comprises a speaker unit (1) for holding a speaker body (11) and having a plurality of claws (13) and a panel member (3) having an opening (4) and a plurality of slits (5). For the installation of the speaker unit (1), the plurality of claws (13) are inserted into the plurality of slits (5), respectively, and the speaker unit (1) is rotated in its circumferential direction. The opening (4) is made to be smaller than the diameter of a speaker housing (12) and to have at least three linear portions (41). Each of the slits (5) is formed outside the three linear portions (41) and inside an outer circumference of the speaker housing (12).
