Disclosed herein is a side feeding type LPI injector including a fuel injection chamber in which fuel is injected into a combustion chamber of an engine through a fuel inlet, and a fuel supply passage through which fuel is injected into the fuel injection chamber in a direction transverse an injection direction of the fuel inlet. The fuel supply passage consists of at least three fuel supply passages which are circumferentially formed at equal intervals. Thus, it is possible to prevent fuel from leaking and improving durability of components by reducing the wavering of a needle, and of increasing combustion efficiency through swirl.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kraftstoffeinspritzventil einer Brennkraftmaschine, wobei das Kraftstoffeinspritzventil einen Haltekörper 1 und einen Düsenkörper 3 aufweist, wobei der Haltekörper 1 und der Düsenkörper 3 eine zentrale eine Düsennadel 2 und/oder eine Betätigungsstange aufnehmende kraftstoffgefüllte Ausnehmung aufweisen, wobei gegenüberliegende Stirnflächen 7a, 7b des Haltekörpers 1 und des Düsenkörpers 3 mittels einer Überwurfmutter 8 gegeneinander verspannt sind. Erfindungsgemäß wird ein Kraftstoffeinspritzventil bereitgestellt, das eine verbesserte Abdichtung zur Umgebung aufweist. Erreicht wird dies dadurch, dass zumindest eine der Stirnflächen 7a, 7b eine die Ausnehmung umfassende Nut aufweist, in die ein Ringdichtelement 14 eingesetzt ist. Das Ringdichtelement 14 besteht aus einer äußerem und einer inneren Ringdichtung 15a, 15b, die unterschiedliche Eigenschaften aufweisen.

A valve for the metering of highly pressurized fluid is specified, which valve has an inlet connector (14), which can be inserted into a connection socket (18) of a fluid supply line (17), and a seal assembly (20) which is arranged on the inlet connector (14) and which has an elastically deformable seal ring (21) and a support ring (22) composed of plastic, which seal assembly is supported on a radial support shoulder (16) provided on the inlet connector (14) and seals against the connection socket (18). To eliminate radial gaps between the support ring (22) on the one hand and the inlet connector (14) and/or the connection socket (18) on the other hand, into which radial gaps the seal ring (21) extrudes, and is damaged, under the action of high pressure, the support ring (22) arranged between the seal ring (21) and support shoulder (16) is composed of an elastically deformable plastics material and is configured such that, under the fluid pressure acting on the seal ring (21), said support ring undergoes an elastic deformation which effects gap-free radial abutment against inlet connector (14) and connection socket (18).

The fuel injection arrangement for a piston engine comprises a number of fuel injection pumps (1), a feed pump (2) for supplying fuel to the fuel injection pumps (1), a fuel supply line (3) connecting the fuel injection pumps (1) to the feed pump (2), and a return line (4) for receiving excess fuel from the fuel injection pumps (1). The arrangement is provided with a branch line (5) having a first end and a second end, the first end being connected to the return line (4) and the second end being closed.

The present disclosure relates to a fuel injector (101) for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. The fuel injector (101) includes an injector body (102), an injector nozzle (103) and an injector needle (104). The injector needle (104) has a needle valve (107) for cooperating with a nozzle seat (106) formed in the injector nozzle (103). At least one injection aperture (108) is provided in the injector nozzle (103). The injector needle (104) is movable within the injector nozzle (103) to control the injection of fuel through said at least one injection aperture (108). A high pressure supply line (122) is provided for supplying high pressure fuel to the injector nozzle (103). The fuel injector (101) also includes a high pressure accumulator (125) in fluid communication with the high pressure supply line (122).
