The invention concerns an installation for the largely automatic manufacture of orthopaedic shoe inserts, the installation comprisisng a device for measuring the sole of the foot, a device for producing the inserts using the results of the measurement and a data-processing unit which takes the measurement results, and processes them, e.g. by smoothing them, if necessary and converts them into control data for the insert-production device. The measurement device scans the sole of the foot essentially line by line, thus establishing the topography of the sole in the form of vertical slices. To this end, one or more electro-mechanical sensors (13) travel in the longitudinal direction over the sole, following its vertical profile. The motion of the sensors (13) is converted by linear potentiometers (25) into electrical signals. The insert-production device has a machining head, e.g. a milling cutter, which is moved in a spiral over the insert blank. The cutter height-control data is determined largely automatically from the sole-measurement results by the data-processing unit.

The arrangement for securing an assembly component to the securing component has an assembly component (21) which can be frictionally and positively fitted on the securing component. The assembly component (21) can have a shoulder (28) in its drilling (27) in order to engage behind retaining components (23) fitted on the outer wall of the securing component (20).

Die beiden seitlich nebeneinanderliegenden Austragöffnungen der Kartusche stehen mit einem der Mischwendelgruppe (1) vorgeschalteten Eingangsteil (2) in Verbindung, das in eine grössere Eingangskammer für die erste Komponente (A) mit dem grösseren Austragvolumen und in eine kleinere Eingangskammer (11) für die zweite Komponente (B) mit dem kleineren Austragvolumen unterteilt ist. Die kleinere Eingangskammer ist derart angeordnet und ausgebildet, dass beim Austritt aus der Eingangskammer die erste Komponente (A) die zweite Komponente (B) umhüllt und der erste Steg (10) der ersten Wendel (9) sowohl die erste (A) als auch die zweite (B) Komponente hälftig teilt und die seitlich eintretende zweite Komponente (B) in das Zentrum des Mischers geführt wird. Ein solcher Mischer ermöglicht eine innige Durchmischung der Komponenten ohne die Notwendigkeit, ein gewisses Volumen zuerst nutzlos austragen zu müssen, um das richtige Mischungsverhältnis einzustellen.

Die Formen der Messer (3) und Nuten (2) sowie die als Konusschrauben (5) ausgebildeten Spannmittel sind einfach und günstig in der Beschaffung und die Handhabung ist einfach. Eine Verschmutzung der Messerspannung ist praktisch ausgeschlossen.

An antireflection coating having a high abrasion and scratching resistance can be applied to natural glass by sputtering, the substrates being positioned closer to the target than usual in order to obtain an increased density of the applied layers. An irregular deposition rate can be compensated by moving the substrate, thus allowing to ensure a regular thickness and therefore a high optical quality of the antireflection coating in these conditions as well. On the preferred sapphire watch glass, SiO2 and Si3N4 resp. AlN and Al2O3 can be used for the individual layers, in particular. These layers do not have a noticeable color effect, but on account of their high hardness, their abrasion and scratching resistance is comparable to that of sapphire glass.

This allows the targeted introduction of air, water, nutrients and auxiliary substances into the plant substrate and especially, into the root conglomerates (61). The moulded body for inserting from below has a recess which is opposite the projection and which acts as a water reservoir that is separate from the plant substrate. The moulded body for inserting from above is water-permeable in the upper part (55), i.e. the foot of the projection and essentially impermeable to water at the bottom (53), in the tip of the projection. Liquid is preferably transported from the bottom part (53) into the top part (55) by capillary forces.

The receiver means in the weapon have a recognition means responsive to at least one coded identification carried by the transponder signal, and a means for generating an output signal to operate said safety means (27) for release of the safety means to the armed position.
