The band adaptive type input data converting section (12) includes a frequency band setting section for setting a frequency band for a to-be-transmitted digital sound signal, and determining a cut-off frequency and a re-sampling frequency for the digital sound signal on the basis of the set frequency band, an adaptive anti-aliasing filter for adaptively filtering the to-be-transmitted digital sound signal on the basis of the cut-off frequency, and a re-sampling section for re-sampling the digital sound signal having passed through the adaptive anti-aliasing filter, using the re-sampling frequency. The compression encoding section (13) performs compression encoding on the re-sampled digital sound signal in units of a predetermined number of data samples, thereby creating encoded data.

    摘要: Portable, lightweight, compact, eye-safe, battery-operated laser range finder and digital compass assembly (10), mountable onto a personal weapon or aiming device, to accurately measure distance, azimuth and elevation angle of a target and increase the accuracy and probability of the hit. The laser range finder and digital compass assembly (10) has a laser transmitter (8) for transmitting an output laser beam having a wavelength in the range of 1.0 to 1.1 microns, an OPO converter (36) for converting the output laser beam to an eye-safe range between 1.5 and 2.2 microns whose time of travel to and from an external target is measured to obtain the range, an expander for expanding the converted output laser beam, a detector (28) for receiving a returned laser beam reflected from the external target and for producing a signal related to the time interval between the output pump beam and the returned pump beam, a digital compass assembly (4), a microprocessor (6), and a device for boresighting the expander with the external target, operatively connected to the laser transmitter (8). The device is placed in a housing (13) adapted for mounting the device onto the personal weapon or aiming device. The laser transmitter (18) is a flashlamp-pumped, battery-operated pump laser.
