摘要: In an control apparatus of an internal combustion engine, a technique is provided in which a proper amount of EGR gas can be supplied while making narrower a range within which exhaust pulsation propagates. In the control apparatus of an internal combustion engine including an EGR passage (41) that connects between an intake passage (4) and an exhaust passage (8) of the internal combustion engine (1) so as to circulate a part of an exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine (1) as an EGR gas, and an EGR valve (42) that is arranged at a location between opposite ends of the EGR passage (41) so as to adjust a flow rate of the EGR gas by adjusting a passage area of the EGR passage (41), provision is made for an opening and closing device (46) of a normally open type that opens and closes the EGR passage (41) at an upstream side of the EGR valve (42), and a change unit (90) that changes a degree of opening of the opening and closing device (46).

摘要: A steering apparatus includes: a steering wheel (12), a shaft (14) that transfers a rotational force from the steering wheel (12), a steering column (16) that supports the shaft (14), a fitting bracket (36) with which the steering column (16) is fitted to a vehicle body-side member (39), a rotational force assist mechanism (C) that applies a rotational force to the shaft (14), and a tilt mechanism (A) that changes a tilt angle of the steering column (16). The fitting bracket (36) includes a support portion (74) that tiltably supports the steering column (16), and a secured portion (76) secured to the vehicle body-side member (39). The fitting bracket (36) is structured in such a manner that the secured portion (76) and the support portion (74) lie in the same plane perpendicular to the rotational axis of the shaft (14) when the steering column (16) is at a predetermined tilt angle that is within a range of tilt angle achievable by using the tilt mechanism (A).

摘要: There is provide a brake control technology according to which a target hydraulic pressure is reliably achieved when a hydraulic pressure is decreased during hydraulic control and brake drag does not occur even when the target hydraulic pressure is zero. In a brake apparatus, a dead-band region is set for the target hydraulic pressure that is used in the hydraulic control. When braking control is switched from the hydraulic control to regenerative control in cooperative braking control, residual pressure reduction control is executed. In the residual pressure reduction control, the target hydraulic pressure is set to a value that is lower than zero to which the hydraulic pressure should be brought.

摘要: An exhaust system (1) is provided with an exhaust passage that allows exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine to pass therethrough, an exhaust emission control unit including a catalyst (2,3) such as a three-way catalyst (27) to purify the exhaust gas, and an exhaust heat collecting unit that converts thermal energy of the exhaust gas into electric energy. The exhaust passage (25) is formed in the center of the exhaust system provided with the exhaust emission control unit. By-pass passages (26) are formed at both sides of the exhaust passage (25) through which the exhaust gas flows without passing through the exhaust emission control unit. The exhaust heat collecting unit (29) is provided on the outer side of each of the by-pass passages (26).

摘要: A wire harness for a door is spanned between a door inner panel of a motor vehicle and a vehicle body and is arranged near an indoor side over a weather strip. An outer protective assembly includes a flange outward fitting portion that is mounted on an outer surface of a flange projecting from a door facing surface of the vehicle body and that defines a wire harness threading space for passing the wire harness. The wire harness that passes through the wire harness threading space in the flange outward fitting portion can be arranged in a vehicle body inner panel. The outer protective assembly includes an inner cover and an outer cover. The inner and outer covers are coupled to each other to define a flat space for juxtaposing electrical wires of the wire harness. The inner and outer covers are bent in a U-shaped configuration around the flange to define the flange outward fitting portion.
