The invention relates to a building panel, in particular a structural element, wall element, cladding element, support element or the like with a multi-layer structure, preferably based on wood or wooden materials which is or are formed with two outer layers arranged at a distance from one another and with at least one core layer arranged between said outer layers and connected thereto, and is characterized in that between two outer layers (3, 4), where appropriate multi-layer outer layers, each formed with a planar layer material, preferably from the group consisting of wood, wooden materials, metals, textile materials, paperboards, plastics, mineral-based building materials and stones, there is arranged, as the core layer, at least one, at least single-layer, oblique-fibre core layer (5) which is formed from a material, preferably consisting of wood, or of “wood plastic”, having a uniform grain, wherein the fibres have an angle (+α) of between +25 and +80° and/or an angle (-α) of from -25 to -80° with respect to the extent of the outer faces (3, 4), and wherein provision is also made for the oblique-fibre core layer (5) to have many positively sloping and/or negatively sloping oblique cavities (6, 6’) which completely traverse said core layer, are parallel to the oblique fibre direction, are preferably the same size as one another and are arranged with a uniform distribution. The invention further relates to a method of producing the building panels and to the use thereof.

The aim of the invention is to be able to modify, in a highly precise manner, the required weight measures and deformation properties of the body, and to achieve a damping action in the event of explosions and noise. To this end, the body consists of at least two layers (S) arranged in a stack and each layer (S) is spread over the surface, with abutments on both sides for a sequential layer or for material regions (M) and free regions (F) comprising supporting elements. The layers (S) are positioned in such a way that the material regions (M) located outside the abutment surfaces respectively correspond to free regions (F) of an adjacent layer (S).

A process for the manufacturing of a decorative laminate, which laminate comprises an upper decorative and abrasion resistant thermosetting laminate layer and a carrying core. The upper side of the core is provided with the abrasion resistant thermosetting laminate while the lower side of the core is provided with a balance layer. This balance layer has the purpose of preventing warping of said decorative laminate while at the same time having the purpose of acoustic dampening. The balance layer comprises a layer of a polymer. The balance layer and the thermosetting laminate are joined with said core by means of pressing. The achieved laminate is then cut into panels and provided with edges intended for joining.

The cross-oriented laminated film is adhered to the corrugated layer in a noncontinuous manner. A method of forming a high strength lamination and a method of improving tear resistance in corrugated paper or paperboard based materials are also disclosed.
