Abstract:
The present invention refers to a radio-frequency antenna (1) comprising: - at least one radiating element configured for converting electromagnetic waves into electric signal and conversely, - at least one connector (3) configured for connecting external transmission cables to the at least one radiating element, - a radome (2) for enclosing and protecting the at least one radiating element wherein the at least one connector (3) are located remotely from the radome (2).
Abstract:
A connector including a resilient Radio Frequency (RF) shield circumscribing a central forward body portion of the connector. The resilient shield conforms to the shape of the recessed port upon axial engagement of the coupling device with the recessed port.
Abstract:
A connecting arrangement and connecting method is disclosed. First connector is connected (502) on the main body of an antenna, the first connector comprising a first outer connector and a first inner connector. The second connector is connected (504) to a second body of the antenna. The second connector comprises a second outer connector and a second inner connector, the inner conductor being connected to the radiator of the antenna. The first outer connector is attached (506) to the second outer connector, the attachment providing a galvanic connection between the first outer connector and the second outer connector and mechanically locking the first connector and the second connector together. The first inner connector is attached (508) to the second inner connector. The attachment provides a capacitive connection between the first inner connector and the second inner connector.
Abstract:
An antenna device includes a round plug having a rotation mechanism section on one end thereof, where round plug is removably attached to a round jack arranged in an electronic apparatus; and a rod antenna element. In the antenna device, the rod antenna element is connected to the rotation mechanism section of the round plug and rotatable in a predetermined direction.
Abstract:
Provided is a microwave outdoor radio device configured so that a coaxial cable terminal can face vertically downward even if the microwave outdoor radio device is connected to either a horizontally polarized wave antenna or a vertically polarized wave antenna. The microwave outdoor radio device includes casing (11) connectable to either the horizontally polarized wave antenna or the vertically polarized wave antenna, coaxial cable terminal (13) that is coupled to casing (11) and that includes connection end (17) connectable to coaxial cable (19), and coupling means (18) that couples coaxial cable terminal (13) to casing (11). Coaxial cable terminal (13) is connectable to coaxial cable (19) along central axis (15) of connection end (17). Coupling means (18) is configured so that connection end (17) can be selectively positioned at two alternative points set at positions line-symmetric to each other about axis line (16) rotated by 45° with respect to central axis (15).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to An antenna assembly for a mobile device comprising a printed circuit board (14) and an antenna structure (12; 42; 44) located at a distance from the printed circuit board (14), wherein the antenna structure (12; 42; 44) is electrically connected to the printed circuit board (14) via at least one elastomeric connector (20) comprising a plurality of conductive filaments (24) and insulating structure extending between the antenna structure (12, 42; 44) and the printed circuit board (14).
