The invention concerns a porous shaped part which comprises at least one of the following water-soluble or water-dispersible substances as binder: carboxylated and/or alkoxylated starch, cellulose ether and fully synthetic vinyl polymers and/or polyacrylates. The shaped part is characterized in that its edges are also porous, preferably just as porous as the interior. The shaped part has a geometric shape and is preferably cylindrical. Its weight should be between 0.5 and 500 g. It is obtained by gently solidifying a powdery mixture of its starting substances, which contains between 5 and 40 wt % water. The shaped part is used in particular for producing a lump-free paste.

Described is a powder-form adhesive made from cold-water-soluble polysaccharides and which is characterized in that it contains 1 to 50 % by wt. of at least one coarse granular material which is soluble in cold water without increasing the viscosity. The granular material preferably has an average particle size of 0.5 to 5 mm, in particular 1.0 to 1.5 mm. Suitable for use as the granular material are, above all, alkali-metal and alkaline-earth salts, as well as sugar and urea. Adding it ensures that glues and adhesive pastes made from the powder-form adhesive are free of lumps.

De nouvelles poudres sèches coulantes à grains fins à base d'une combinaison soluble et/ou gonflable dans l'eau d'éthers de cellulose non-ionogènes et de polymères secs de redispersion, le cas échéant mélangés à d'autres additifs avec et/ou sans pouvoir adhésif, se caractérisent par une structure granulométrique ayant des grains fermés d'éther de cellulose non-ionogènes entourés par une enveloppe de polymère de redispersion fixée aux grains. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne le procédé de production de ces nouvelles poudres sèches coulantes. Selon ce procédé, on mélange les éthers de cellulose non-ionogène à l'état de poudre avec la dispersion aqueuse des polymères, la température de la phase aqueuse étant au moins égale ou supérieure à la température de trouble ou de floculation des éthers de cellulose non-ionogènes, et on soumet dans ces conditions le mélange aqueux à un séchage par pulvérisation. Ces nouveaux matériaux composites sont utiles pour une grande diversité d'applications en tant qu'adhésifs et/ou liants à propriétes améliorées.
