    x is an integer from about 1 to about 10, y is an integer from 0 to about 10; and z is an integer from about 1 to about 100.
    The poly(oxyalkylene) esters of the substituted polyphenylethers of the present invention are useful as fuel additives for the prevention and control of engine deposits.
