At the restart after the idle stop, an air-fuel ratio is controlled to be rich, and an atmosphere inside of a catalyst is estimated on the basis of a required time ”T from a time point at which an output value (VO2_2) of first oxygen concentration detection means upstream of the catalyst exceeds a predetermined value A1 to a time point at which an output value (VO2_2) of second oxygen concentration detection means downstream of the catalyst exceeds a predetermined value A2, whereby an air-fuel ratio at next and subsequent restarts is corrected so that the atmosphere inside of the catalyst is optimized at the next and subsequent restarts.

摘要: An engine control device controls a cylinder direct fuel injection type spark ignition engine provided with a fuel injection valve configured to directly inject fuel to a cylinder and an ignition plug configured to perform spark ignition for a gas mixture inside the cylinder. In a case where it is necessary to warm up an exhaust gas purifying catalyst disposed in an exhaust passage, the engine control device executes a catalyst warm-up operation in which a fuel is injected at a timing during the compression stroke, and at a timing when the fuel spray colliding with the piston crown surface moves toward the ignition plug along the shape of the piston crown surface, and in which the ignition timing is after compression top dead center. The engine control device advances the fuel injection timing in accordance with an increase in an estimation amount of a liquid fuel remaining on the top surface of the piston during execution of the catalyst warm-up operation.

摘要: With the present invention, a gasoline engine is equipped with an electric heater, which is embedded in a port-type fuel injection valve and heats the fuel in the fuel injection valve. An electronic control device heats the fuel by means of the electric heater when the engine is cold. In addition, when the fuel is not heated by the electric heater, the electronic control device controls a fuel injection valve such that the engine rotational speed NE is a rotational speed (a second prescribed value N2) which is higher than the idle rotational speed (a third prescribed value N3) when the engine is warm. When idle running is performed when the engine is cold and the fuel injected from the fuel injection valve is heated by the electric heater, the amount Q of fuel injected by the fuel injection valve is controlled such that the engine rotational speed NE is less than the second prescribed value N2.

摘要: A control apparatus (100) for a vehicle (1) includes an engine (10), a fuel tank (511), a feed pump (512), a pressure sensor (53a), a motor (20) and an electric storage apparatus (70). The feed pump feeds the fuel to a port injection valve (54). The pressure sensor detects a fuel pressure that is fed to the port injection valve. The motor performs cranking of the engine at start time of the engine. The control apparatus includes an ECU (141). The ECU controls the feed pump based on a detection value of the pressure sensor and controls the motor in order to start the engine. The ECU controls the feed pump and the motor such that the electric storage apparatus feeds electric power to the motor in preference to the feed pump, when an electric power that the electric storage apparatus is able to output at the start time of the engine is less than a determination threshold.
