The seat structure can be deformed downwards in the back area (2b) of the seat, especially near the support (5), at least partially by the pelvis (8) of the occupant (9) when he or she is displaced forward as a result of a sharp deceleration of the vehicle, whereby the height of the support (5) remains almost unchanged.

In the inventive configuration, the airbag module is vibrationally disengaged from the steering wheel by means of an oscillating element, whereas the cap has no vibrational disconnection with the steering wheel. In case of vibrations of the steering wheel, the cap running separately on the upper part of the steering wheel oscillates in conjunction with the steering wheel so that no relative movement between both exists.

The invention relates to a surface-improving material for unvarnished plastic surfaces. According to the invention, the surface-improving material consists of a mixture of a) a hard-wax component, such as paraffinic waxes, dissolved in hydrocarbons, and b) a preparation of waxes, silicones and organic pigments, dissolved in isoparaffinic hydrocarbons. The inventive surface-improving material is used for the treatment of unvarnished plastic surfaces, preferably of plastic materials used in motor vehicle construction and especially for 2K covers of airbag units. Said surface-improving materials reduce gloss, improve scratch resistance and render the visible surfaces of the plastic parts more homogeneous.

Said platelet has particularly narrow three-dimensional sections and is chiefly intended to be used as caps for the cover of driver air bag modules. According to the invention, the platelet (1) exhibits at least one protuberance(3) on the back side serving as a power direction indicator to solder it to the base plate (2). Said configuration of the platelet provides the advantage that even filigree platelets with enhanced three-dimensional effects can be soldered securely on a base plate thus avoiding overheating of and damage to the platelet. Said secure connection ensures that the platelet does not come off from the cover cap of an air bag in case of a crash. Passengers could be at risk if a platelet comes off from the cover cap.
