    摘要: In a power supply system, an inductance L is connected between a rail at a voltage V, and a rail at earth through a switch S. When the switch is opened, a current i 1 flowing from the inductance L is directed to a third rail through a diode D, voltage on the third rail rising to V 1 . The system may function as a dc to dc converter with an output voltage between the V 1 rail and the V 2 rail equal to V 2 -V 1 . The system may alternatively be used in, for example, a reluctance motor drive, in which case a further inductance with associated switch and diode is included in the circuit in inverse configuration to prevent excessive voltage rise on the third rail.

    摘要: A switched reluctance machine has salient poles on the stator and rotor. The windings of the machine are supplied from a converter which provides energisation at a chosen rate. The windings of the machine may be energised at the rate at which the rotor poles pass the stator poles, or it may be operated at a fraction of that rate by energising the windings to cooperate with every second, third or fourth rotor pole. This can extend the output of the machine.

    摘要: A control system for compensating a hysteresis band of a switched reluctance (SR) machine having a rotor and a stator is provided. The control system may include a converter circuit and a controller. The converter circuit may be operatively coupled to the stator and include a plurality of switches in selective communication with each phase of the stator. The controller may be in communication with each of the stator and the converter circuit, and configured to monitor at least one phase current of the SR machine relative to a current threshold of the hysteresis band, determine an adjustment value based on a difference between the phase current and the current threshold if the phase current exceeds the current threshold, and compensate the current threshold by the adjustment value.
