The present invention provides a MRI-guided ultrasound therapeutic unit, includes a static field magnet adapted to apply a static magnetic field in a magnetic resonance volume within a predetermined zone; at least one ultrasound energy applicator adapted to apply energy to a predetermined energy applying zone; and a moving and positioning device of the ultrasound energy applicator adapted to make the energy applying zone intersect with the magnetic resonance volume at the therapeutic targeted region. In the unit, the static field magnet is two-end-open and side-face-open, the side face opening is open upwards or downwards, and the moving and positioning device of the ultrasound energy applicator is near and outside of the side face opening. According to the invention, the space limitation of the moving and positioning device of the ultrasound energy applicator is deceased, at the same time, the non-magnetic demand of the moving and positioning device of the ultrasound energy exchanger is deceased largely, it especially resolves the problem that magnetic field generated by the working current of the energy exchanger power line disturbs the MRI system.

This invention provides a MRI guided ultrasound therapy apparatus. It comprises a static field magnet adapted to apply a static magnetic field in an magnetic resonance volume at a predetermined disposition; at least one ultrasound energy applicator adapted to apply energy within an energy application zone at a predetermined disposition; and The mechanical positioning means for moving said ultrasound energy applicator to position the applicator so that the energy application zone intersects said magnetic resonance volume within said region of the subject. In that apparatus, the static field magnet is open at both ends or open at side. The sided open is upward or downward and the mechanical positioning means of this ultrasound energy applicator is close to and is located outside of this sided open. This invention reduces the space limitation for the mechanical positioning means of the ultrasound transducer. Meanwhile, the non-magnetic requirement on the mechanical positioning means become less greatly and particularly the problem of interference from magnetic field produced by working current of the transducer power cord to MRI system can be solved.

The swing type high-intensity focused ultrasound therapeutic apparatus comprises an ultrasound transducer and a moving-locating mechanism thereof, wherein said moving-locating mechanism adopts a swing mechanism which is connected to the ultrasound transducer by a supporting rod. The MRI guided therapeutic system comprises this swing type therapeutic apparatus. In the present invention, the ultrasound transducer moves freely in multiple dimensions and the moving-locating mechanism adopts a swing mechanism, so the interference generated by the MRI guided high-intensity focused ultrasound therapeutic system on the MRI apparatus is quite small and thereby the quality of the ultrasound image obtained is good.

A swinging high intensity focused ultrasound therapeutic apparatus of the present invention comprises an ultrasound transducer and its moving positioning mechanism, wherein said moving positioning mechanism use a swinging mechanism which is connected to the ultrasound transducer through a supporting lever. A MRI guided therapeutic system of the present invention comprises such a therapeutic apparatus. With the present invention, the ultrasound transducer can move flexibly, and since the moving positioning mechanism uses a swinging mechanism, the interference generated by the therapeutic system on the MRI apparatus is very small and the quality of ultrasound image obtained thus is good.
