    摘要: A pluggable transceiver module (200) comprising a line receiver (208) connected to a unit interface transmitter (202), a line transmitter (206) connected to a unit interface receiver (204) and a timestamp counter (210) adapted to generate counter values based on clock signals received from an external source and to send the counter values to the line transmitter (206) and to the line receiver (208).     摘要: A method executed in a first user equipment of a first user for communicating with a second user equipment of a second user is provided where the first user equipment is capable of applying a service which require exchange of service capabilities between users for enabling the two users to communicate via the mentioned service, and wherein the first user is not authorized to access the service capabilities associated with the second user. The suggested method comprise: providing a service capabilities request, requesting an exchange of service capabilities associated with the two users, via a first signaling protocol; identifying a response to the service capabilities request, received by the first user equipment, as a rejection to the service capabilities request; providing a service capabilities exchange invitation, requesting an exchange of service capabilities associated with the two users, to the second user equipment, via a second signaling protocol other than the first signaling protocol; identifying the second user as a user with which the first user cannot communicate via said user equipments and the mentioned service, in case the service capabilities exchange invitation does not result in the requested exchange of service capabilities, or identifying the second user as a user with which the first user can now communicate via the first and second user equipments and the mentioned service, in case the service capabilities exchange invitation results in the requested exchange of service capabilities.

    摘要: Methods and devices for allocating codes to user devices to enable extracting an intended signal among a plurality of signals multiplexed over the same physical channel are provided. The methods include determining a threshold number of orthogonal codes to be reserved for allocation to first user devices, based on (i) a number of orthogonal codes usable for allocating, (ii) a usage of the orthogonal codes, and (iii) an average penetration of first user devices, the first user devices being less capable than the second user devices to cancel undesirable interference from a signal extracted using the allocated code. The methods further include allocating an orthogonal code if a number of available orthogonal codes is larger than the threshold number, otherwise allocating an orthogonal code if a first user device requests a connection, and a quasi-orthogonal code if a second user device requests a connection.
