An optical device has a reflecting mirror using a particle-dispersed silicon material including silicon carbide and silicon. The reflecting mirror includes a plurality of segments joined to each other by reaction sintering. Producing the segments is easy in comparison with that of a reflecting mirror of one piece. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce probability of breakage of the segments and to shorten process time of production of a reflecting mirror.

In order to control an attitude of a movable object having a flexible member (50) through an attitude maneuver, first, based on vibration of the flexible member at the time of the attitude maneuver, for example, a sampling function including no frequency components equal to or higher than a particular frequency is obtained. With the use of the sampling function, a control target value is created as a previously-frequency-shaping-type feedforward control law. Based on the control target value, attitude control data is created. The attitude control data can be used for the attitude maneuver with respect to the movable object.

In a data/strobe encoding scheme circuit in which data and a strobe signal are transmitted through different lines, changes respectively in the data and the strobe signal are employed as clock signals for a latching operation, and the data is transmitted to a succeeding-stage circuit operating on a second clock signal. The circuit latches predetermined data by an FF circuit and passes a data pair including a signal indicating that the data has been latched and held therein as well as the latched data to the succeeding-stage circuit, activates, if assertion of a signal indicating reception of the data is received from the succeeding-stage circuit, again the FF circuit which has latched the data and has entered a stop state, and receives new data. There is provided a data/strobe encoding scheme circuit and a data/strobe encoding method, it is possible to implement a data/strobe encoding scheme circuit and a data/strobe encoding method capable of realizing a low-cost data/strobe encoding scheme which is independent of LSI device characteristics and which can be easily designed.

An electromagnetic wave radiation control apparatus includes an antenna (1), a modulator (8), an amplifier (9), and a radiation control unit (5, 7). The modulator modulates a carrier wave based on a transmission signal to output a modulated signal, wherein the modulator stops the output of the modulated signal in response to a power off command. The amplifier amplifies the modulated signal such that the amplified signal is radiated as electromagnetic wave from the antenna, when the modulated signal is outputted from the modulator. The radiation control unit generates the power off command to the modulator, when radiation of electromagnetic wave in a current radiation direction of the antenna is inhibited, or when a level of a reception signal by the antenna is equal to or lower than a predetermined minimum level.
