摘要： A device for producing electrolyte flow in a flow-assisted battery comprises a flow assisted battery, a powering device located on a dry side of a battery housing, and an impeller assembly located on a wet side of the battery housing. The flow assisted battery comprises a battery housing, an anode, a cathode and an electrolyte solution, where the anode, the cathode and the electrolyte solution are disposed within the battery housing. The impeller assembly comprises: a shaft, an impeller, and one or more interior magnets, and the powering device and the impeller assembly are magnetically coupled through the battery housing.

摘要： A genetically modified vertebrate is provided that has an enhanced sense due to an over representation of a predetermined odorant receptor. The vertebrate is genetically modified by introduction of DNA that comprises at least four sequential repeats of a sequence whose primary structure is at least 90% homologous with ACATAACTTTTTAATGAGTCT (SEQ ID NO: 1). The DNA causes a nearby odorant receptor coding sequence to be over represented in a singular gene choice fashion relative to a corresponding vertebrate that lacks the DNA.

摘要： The present invention provides for compositions or formulations including a curcuminoid and at least one of resveratrol, resveratrol derivative, catechin, or catechin derivative. The present invention also provides for a method of treating any disease where uncontrolled cellular proliferation occurs, such as cancers. In particular, the present invention provides a method for treating cervical cancer and precancerous cervical lesions. The present invention also provides methods to treat viral infections. The disclosed compositions or formulations are biologically more active demonstrating strong synergy, functions to activate multiple novel genes. The disclosure further shows that the composition increases cellular uptake of curcumin and are able to stabilize curcumin in an aqueous environment. All these enhanced properties are accomplished by a composition or formulation that is much simpler to manufacture and lower in cost.
