    摘要: An aqueous dispersion composition comprising: (A) a modified epoxy resin as an emulsifying agent, and (B) an aromatic epoxy resin having a number-average molecular weight of 1,000 to 30,000 as a resin to be emulsified which is partially or completely neutralized with ammonia and/or amine, characterized in that the modified epoxy resin (A) is one prepared by reacting: (a1) an aromatic epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 2,000 to 20,000 with (a2) an acrylic resin comprising acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid and having an acid value of 50 to 450. This composition is used particularly suitably for coating the internal face of a metal can necessitating high workability and corrosion resistance by applying the composition to a metal material directly or through an undercoat and baking it.

    摘要: A polychromic image is reproduced and transferred onto a substrate (26) by (a) providing a positive electrolytically inert electrode (10) having a continuous passivated surface (12) moving at constant speed; (b) coating the positive electrode active surface with an olefinic substance; (c) forming on the olefin-coated positive electrode surface a plurality of colored pixels representative of a desired polychromic image and each pixel comprising juxtaposed dots of differently colored, coagulated colloid, by electrocoagulation of a colloid present in an electrocoagulation printing ink; and (d) bringing a substance (26) into contact with the colored pixels to cause transfer of the colored pixels from the positive electrode surface onto the substrate and thereby imprint the substrate with the polychromic image.

    摘要: An electrocoagulation printing ink which comprises a liquid dispersion comprising a polymer capable of electrolytical coagulation, a liquid medium, a soluble electrolyte, a pigment, and a dispersant for evenly dispersing the pigment in the dispersion, and in which the dispersant is an alkali metal salt of a naphthalenesulfonic acid/formaldehyde condensate; and an electrocoagulation printing method using the same. By using this dispersant, storage stability is improved and undesirable colored scumming formed in the prints obtained by electrocoagulation printing is mitigated. In chemical formula (I), M is an alkali metal and n is an integer of about 2 to about 15.
