    摘要: A pump fitting has an inlet adaptor (10) for connection to an outlet (39) of a container (38) of fluid and including an inlet passage (10), an outlet passage (11) for fluid and a pump housing (12) between the inlet passage (10) and the outlet passage (11). The pump housing (12) contains a rotor (17) rotatably received in an interior surface of the housing (12). The rotor (17) includes a housing-engaging surface (23, 24) co-operating with the interior surface of the housing (12) to form a seal therebetween and also including at least one shaped surface (21, 22) radially inwardly of the housing-engaging surface and forming with the interior surface of the housing a chamber (25, 26) for conveying fluid from the inlet passage (10) to the outlet passage (11) on rotation of the rotor (17). A seal (28) is provided between the outlet passage (10) and the inlet passage (11), the seal (28) being urged into engagement with the rotor (17) to prevent fluid passing from the outlet passage (11) to the inlet passage (10) as the shaped surface rotates. The inlet passage (10), the outlet passage (11) and the housing (12) are formed as a one-piece molding.

    摘要: Transmission systems, assemblies, and components are described. In particular, aspects of the present disclosure relate to an infinitely variable transmission that maintains constant tooth engagement during changes in gear ratio. In one aspect, a transmission includes an axially movable sheave coupled to a chain. The sheave rotates around a drive axis. At least partially within the sheave is a set of moon gears. The moon gears orbit around the drive axis and are rotatable around respective internal axis. As the sheave moves axially, the chain and the set of moon gears move radially to define different gear ratios, with the gear ratios being changeable in infinitely small increments. A synchronization system moves the set of moon gears radially to correspond to the axial position of the sheave. A correction system optionally controls rotation of the moon gears to rotate teeth of the moon gears into alignment with the chain.

    摘要: An attachment system principally use on garment (10, 30) provides a number of aligned loops (15) on the garment and a number of aligned loops (24) on a load such as an equipment pack (17). The load also includes an elongate securing member that extends from the load with a flexible proximal portion (26) and a stiffened distal portion (27). The stiffened distal portion (27) can be very readily threaded through successive ensemble loops (15) and load loops (24) to pull the flexible proximal portion (26) through the loops (15, 24) to attach the load (17) to the garment (10, 30). The stiffened distal portion (27) is then fed back through the loops (15, 24) to provide a geometric lock that prevents the load (17, 18) detaching from the garment (10, 30). Various loads can be attached in this way.

The lock includes an alarm (25) that is triggered by the locking of the locking member (11). If, however, the lock is unlocked and relocked within a predetermined time interval, the alarm (25) is disarmed. In this way, the lock can remain locked but with the alarm (25) disarmed. The signals that cause the alarm (25) to arm and disarm can be produced in any convenient way.
