The glue discharge valve (40) is normally closed by a stack of disk springs (25) that stresses the valve member (30). When a voltage, resulting in an expansion, is applied to the piezoelectric element (20), said element moves the valve member (30) against the force of the stack of disk springs (25) and opens the glue discharge valve (40). In order to avoid heat transmission from the hot glue guiding part (2) to the driving part that contains the piezoelectric element (20), the parts (1, 2) are mutually separated by a heat insulating zone (3).

L'angle d'attaque de chaque pale peut être modifié. Un dispositif de poussée est monté sur ou à proximité de l'extrémité sortante des plans de sustentation à pale. Un plan de sustentation en forme d'aile est relié perpendiculairement à l'extrémité de chaque plan de sustention à pale, à la même extrémité que le dispositif de poussée. The invention concerns a method of producing glass mouldings in a press in which the punch remains, after the pressing operation, in contact with the moulding in the mould until the parts of the moulding near the surface have cooled to a temperature such that the moulding is at least temporarily rigid enough to be removed from the mould. In order to avoid the parts of the moulding near the surface warming up again and producing undesirable deformations, the moulding is transferred to a cooling station after removal from the mould. This method minimizes the dwell time of the moulding in the mould, so that the mould is ready in a very short time for another pressing operation. The method proposed thus increases the output of the press. The invention also concerns a press which is particularly suitable for use with this method, the drive to the press punch being provided by a cam driven by an electric motor with torque and rpm control.
