The present invention discloses a charging method for a sub-module based hybrid converter. By setting a half-controlled charging link of half-blocking all full bridge sub-modules in a charging process, and raising the voltages of half bridge sub-modules to reach the starting point of a half bridge sub-module based self-powered supply in an uncontrolled stage of the half bridge sub-modules, the starting point of the sub-module based self-powered supply is increased, and the design difficulty of the sub-module based self-powered supply is reduced. The present invention also discloses another charging method for a sub-module based hybrid converter. The above objective can also be achieved by setting a half-controlled charging link of bypassing all full bridge sub-modules in the charging process.

The present invention discloses a signal name based method for automatic signal exchange between multiple embedded CPU boards, including the following steps: dividing CPU boards into master board and slave board, where during an initialization phase, each slave board sends signal registration information to the master board; after the master board collects the signal registration information of all the slave boards, reading, from a configuration file, an exchange relationship between an output signal and an input signal that is represented by a connection line between signal names, calculating and allocating a data bus address to which the output signal and the input signal are mapped, and sending memory addresses, data types, and bus addresses of signals to each slave board; after a slave board receives the memory addresses, the data types, and the bus addresses of the signals from the master board, saving same as output signal tables and input signal tables; and during an operation phase, writing, by a signal sender, a value of an output signal into a corresponding bus address according to the output signal tables, and reading, by a receiver, a value of an input signal from a corresponding bus address according to the input signal tables. With this method, signal exchange between CPU boards may be intuitively and simply adjusted, and the correctness of signal exchange is ensured. The present invention further provides an apparatus for implementing automatic signal exchange.

A relay protection method against LC parallel circuit detuning faults comprises the steps of: a relay protection device samples a current of a parallel LC, that is, a reactor and a capacitor, and samples a total current flowing through the whole LC; convert the current of the reactor into a current of an equivalent capacitor; calculate amplitudes of the current of the equivalent capacitor and a current of a realistic capacitor and calculate an amplitude of the total current flowing through the LC; calculate a current amplitude ratio of the equivalent capacitor to the realistic capacitor; and when the amplitude of the total current flowing through the LC is large enough, send an alarm signal or a trip after a setting time delay if the current ratio exceeds a preset upper and lower limit range. Also provided is a corresponding relay protection device. The relay protection method and device against LC parallel circuit detuning faults can improve stability of calculation results of a current ratio and raise sensitivity and rapidity of protection.

Disclosed is a method for providing warning about a failure in a converter valve. The method comprises: within a predetermined time range, recording time information of status indication signals fed back by thyristor control units (TCU) of a converter valve, performing statistics and comparison of the pieces of time information using a bias statistics method, marking a thyristor level whose bias exceeds a preset value, and determining a probability of failure in the thyristor according to the marking result. Also disclosed is a system for providing warning about a failure in a converter valve. The system comprises a register array used to store bias data of thyristor levels of a converter valve and a high-speed processor used to process, using a bias statistics method, status indication signals fed back by TCUs. The solution of the present invention can identify a thyristor level with a relatively high probability of failure, achieve early warning, and provide a reference for device replacement, thereby reducing a probability of outage of a direct current system due to a failure of a thyristor level, and providing references for device performance optimization and circuit design optimization of a converter valve.

The line power control method for a unified power flow controller includes outer loop line power control, inner loop valve side current control, and converter valve control. Series-side converter valve side current reference values I sedref and I seqref are calculated by means of the outer loop line power control according to line power instructions P ref and Q ref that are input, a measured line power U L , and measured line power P line and Q line ; a converter output voltage reference value U cref is calculated by means of the inner valve side current control according to the valve side current reference values that are output by means of the outer loop power control, a measured valve side current, and a measured valve side voltage; and finally, a converter outputs, according to the voltage reference value, a corresponding voltage to control line power to achieve a reference value. The control method is simple and practical, has high reliability, can rapidly and accurately control the line power, and can implement independent decoupling control of active power and reactive power of a line.
