Each of the plurality of switching device VBCs (3, 4) comprises an electrical energy storage, EES, module (6, 7), and a resistive current path (8, 9) comprising at least one resistor (10, 11), and at least one EES module voltage regulating circuitry, VRC, (12, 13) connected or connectable to the EES module (6, 7), wherein the at least one EES module VRC (12, 13) is configured such that it conducts current therethrough in a direction towards the at least one resistor (10, 11) when the voltage over the at least one EES module VRC (12, 13) is within a predefined threshold voltage range.

The battery protection chip solves the problems of high costs, difficulty in determining the ratio of voltage division by a resistor, and large power consumption during battery protection by existing cascaded battery protection chips.

摘要： This power conversion device includes: a rectification circuit; an inverter circuit having a full-bridge configuration, and having a DC capacitor, and first and second legs each of which has two switching elements connected in series to each other; a transformer; and a control circuit for controlling operation of the inverter circuit, wherein the control circuit controls an ON period for the first leg, thereby controlling increase/decrease in current flowing through a first rectification circuit from an AC input, and controls an ON period for the second leg and a phase shift amount between the ON period for the first leg and the ON period for the second leg, thereby controlling voltage of the DC capacitor to be constant. Thus, it becomes possible to achieve high-power-factor control and output power control at the same time by a single stage of full-bridge inverter circuit.

摘要： The present disclosure provides a system and method enabling a self-burn-in test for a power supply device (PSD) of a server system using a multi-phase scheme. The PSD comprises a power-width modulation (PWM) controller, and a plurality of power stages. Each of the plurality of power stages comprises a driver, a high-side MOSFET, and a low-side MOSFET. In one aspect of the present disclosure, upon receiving a test mode command from a controller of the server system, the PWM controller can send a PWM signal to switch a specific power stage to the On state, and send at least another PWM signal that switches other power stage(s) of the plurality of power stages to the Tri-state. During a subsequent self-burn-in test of the specific power stage, low-side MOSFET(s) of the other power stage(s) can function as a load for the specific power stage.

The removable jumpers allow the connections between one or more power semiconductor die in the sub-modules to be reconfigured, such that when the removable jumpers are provided, the power module has a first function and when the removable jumpers are removed, the power module has a second function. The removable jumpers may also allow for independent testing of the sub-modules. The power module may also include a multi-layer printed circuit board (PCB), which is used to connect one or more contacts of the power semiconductor die. The multi-layer PCB reduces stray inductance between the contacts and therefore improves the performance of the power module.
