    摘要: A connector including a plug (100), an outlet (250) and a connecting block (300) each of which provides enhanced performance by reducing crosstalk. The plug (100) includes contacts having a reduced amount of adjacent area between neighboring contacts, and a load bar that staggers the wires to be terminated to the contacts. An outlet (250) which mates with the plug includes contacts positioned in a contact carrier so that adjacent area between neighboring contacts is reduced. The connecting block (100) includes pairs of contacts wherein the distance between contacts in a pair is smaller than the distance between sets of pairs. The connecting block also includes an improved tip that reduces untwisting of wires coupled to the connecting block.

    摘要: A double hinged raceway (10) includes an extruded base (20) and cover (22), wherein the cover (22) is hingedly and removably connected to both sides of the base (20) to allow easy access of cables. The extruded base (20) and cover (22) snap together to provide an enclosed channel or cable pathway for routing communication or power cables. A symmetrical shape of the extruded base (20) and the cover (22) allow the cover (22) to be hinged open from either side of the base (20) while providing a stopping point for the hinged cover (22) in a formation of a trough for retaining the cables prior to snapping the cover (22) in a closed position.

    摘要: A wiring connecting system having superior electrical transmission performance with reduced cross talk and improved lacing and termination features is disclosed and includes a base, a wire strip (108) mountable to the base, a connecting block (300) for housing a plurality of electrical contacts (450) and a plurality of cross talk barriers (202) disposed within the connecting block for isolating pairs of the electrical contacts. The wire strip has a plurality of first and second posts (124) alternating along its length. The second posts have a greater width than the first posts. A connector block for housing a plurality of electrical contacts mounts onto the wire strip. An upper end of the connecting block includes a plurality of first (304) and second (306) teeth alternating along its length with the second teeth having a greater width than the first teeth. The electrical contacts extend from the lower end of the housing to generally align with the openings of the wire strip. A plurality of barriers for electrically shielding pairs of the electrical contacts are disposed within the connecting block housing and substantially surround respective pairs of the electrical contacts. A plug for connecting a cable having a plurality of wires to the connecting block is also disclosed.
