The invention is characterised by winding the product (3) around a drum (1) immediately downstream of an annealing path so that the product (3) is brought to lie in mutually juxtaposed turns and thereafter to be unwound from the drum (1) after a number of turns, wherein the product is wound onto the drum (1) through a number of turns such that said product (3) will be cooled to a desired temperature, and wherein the drum (1) is given a diameter that exceeds the diameter at which the product (3) will be influenced mechanically by plastic deformation.

The clamp plate is formed of a harder and more wear-resistant material than the clamp arm and transmits clamping forces from the clamp arm to the cutting insert. The hard clamp plate shields the clamp arm from being impacted by chips generated during a machining operation, thereby minimizing wearing of the clamp arm.

The invention relates to a cutting tool of the type that comprises two parts (1, 2) having co-operating connecting surfaces of serration type, which individually include a plurality of ridges or tops (13, 15), which are mutually separated by grooves (14, 16), the pitch (P) between the ridges in the respective connecting surfaces being one and the same. According to the invention, the widths of two or more grooves (14) positioned one after the other in a series in one of the connecting surfaces increase progressively from a first groove (14a) to a last groove (14) in the series. Furthermore, the invention relates to a tool part as such, as well as a method in the manufacture of such tool parts.

The aim of the invention is to produce mechanically driven rotary tools, preferably boring, milling, grinding and cutting tools which are stable, non-corrosive and biocompatible and also have high mechanical strength properties, in conjunction with good ductility properties. The second flow of material (M2) is fed in a direction having a substantially tangential component in relation to the rotor (1), such that the second flow of material (M2) will have a substantially tangential component of movement in relation to the rotor (1) when reaching the path of the first flow of material (M1). A crusher is adapted to feed the second flow of material (M2) such that it will have a substantially tangential component of movement in relation to the rotor (1) when reaching the path of the first flow of material (M1).
