摘要: In a continuously variable transmission having a belt type continuously variable transmission unit where the direction of transmitting torque thereof is switched by torque circulation on the basis of the Low mode and the High mode and the axial forces of both pulleys are changed by switching the Low mode and High mode. In the Low mode of the D range, a comparatively high hydraulic pressure from the regulator valve 56 is supplied to the Low clutch hydraulic servo CL via the ports o and p of the Low-High shifting valve 60' and to the secondary hydraulic servo 33 via the ports s, r. In addition, a comparatively low hydraulic pressure from the ratio control valve 57 is supplied to the primary hydraulic servo 32 via the ports g, t. The supplies of oil pressures is reversed by switching the Low-High shifting valve 60'.

The hydraulic servo (3,4) includes: a stationary type cylinder (30,40) formed at least by one of the two side walls at the axial end portions of the transmission case; a piston (31,41) arranged slidably in the cylinder, and defining, together with the cylinder, an oil chamber (3c,4c) to be fed with the oil pressure; and a bearing (32,42) arranged between the pistons and the clutch for transmitting the thrust force, to the clutch, while allowing the relative rotations between the piston and the clutch.

摘要: A continuously variable transmission (1) comprising a belt type C.V.T. (11) including a first shaft (3) and a second shaft (4); a fixed ratio transmission (16) for connecting a first rotary member (18) arranged on the first shaft (3) and a second rotary member (20) arranged on the second shaft (4); an output gear (21) for transmitting a power to wheels; and a three axis planetary gear (19) arranged on the second shaft (4). The first shaft (3) is connected through the belt C.V.T. (11) to one axis of the planetary gear (19) and through the fixed ratio transmission (16) to a second axis. The hydraulic actuator (7c) of the first pulley (7) of the C.V.T. (11) and the hydraulic actuator (9c) of the second pulley (9) are arranged at either side of the belt plane (10). The planetary gear (19) and the output gear (21) are arranged on the second shaft (4) between the fixed ratio transmission (16) and the second pulley (9) to axially overlap the hydraulic actuator (7c) of the first pulley (7).

摘要: In a neutral N control for substantially equalizing axial forces to act on two pulleys (7, 9), a belt type continuously variable transmission CVT (11) self-converges into the gear neutral point (GN) at which the output shaft RPM (2) takes the value 0. When the convergence is made to the GN point to establish a no-load state, the CVT establishes a force F A to converge into a pulley ratio of 1.0, in which it is stabilized by itself. A converging force F N to the GN point and the force F A toward the pulley ratio of 1.0 are repeated in a vortex shape in the load state and in the no-load state to establish a creep force. This creep force can be modified by generating a force F O against the force F A .

摘要: In a continuously variable transmission using a belt type continuously variable transmission unit which is composed of a primary pulley and a secondary pulley and whose torque transmitting direction is switched by torque circulation when a forward traveling is switched to a backward traveling and vice versa, when a low mode is selected in a D range, a somewhat high hydraulic pressure from a regulator valve 56 is supplied to a secondary hydraulic servo 33 through the ports f and i of a manual valve 59 as well as a somewhat low hydraulic pressure from a ratio control valve 57 is supplied to a primary hydraulic servo 32 through ports h and g. When the D range is switched to a R range by the manual valve 59, the supply of the above hydraulic pressures is reversed. With this arrangement, the axial forces of both the pulleys are changed by switching the forward traveling and backward traveling.

摘要: In a state a vehicle is stopped at an intersection, an infinitely variable transmission (18) is in a neutral position, a motor/generator (2) rotates with a low speed, an oil pump (10) and an auxiliary equipment (39) are in rotating state. When the vehicle is started, a continuously variable transmission (11) performs continuous shift control from the neutral position using hydraulic pressure from the oil pump (10), and the rotation of the motor/generator (2) is transmitted to drive wheels via a ring gear (19r) of a planetary gear (19). After the vehicle has started driving, the input clutch (6) is engaged and the internal engine (1) is started.
