In some embodiments, a method for providing a cushion material (108) that is capable of being 3D printed is disclosed. The method includes generating a design of the cushion material (108) comprising a variable mechanical stiffness across a surface of the cushion material (108). The method further includes producing the cushion material (108) via additive manufacturing based on the design. Generating the design includes generating a layout design of a plurality of tube-like shaped gyroid lattice structures (106) of the cushion material (108) aligned with the surface of the cushion material (108).

Suites are arranged to maximize seating density and privacy, and each suite is equipped with premium features and amenities for use by occupants during flight.

摘要: Disclosed are embodiments of passenger seats (100) equipped with seat belts for mitigating seat damage and spinal tension from free-flail movements. In embodiments, the assembly includes a seat back (102), a first slip ring (110) positioned proximate a top of the seat back, a second slip ring (112) positioned lower on the seat back, a retractor (114), and a webbing (116) threaded through each of the first and second slip rings (110, 112). During normal use of the seat the first slip ring (110) forms a first pivot for the webbing (116), and during a qualifying deceleration event the second slip ring (112) forms a new pivot for the webbing (116) lower on the seat back (102). In a further embodiment, first and second webbings (132, 134) form primary and auxiliary restraints guided by respective first and second pivots.

摘要: Disclosed are embodiments of monuments (100, 200, 300) for installation in an aircraft passenger cabin. Each monument (100, 200, 300) is multi-use in that the monument serves to accommodate a wheelchair and provide at least one additional function. In embodiments, the monument includes an interior space (104, 204) dedicated for receiving and positioning a wheelchair in an unfolded state, for instance an occupied wheelchair during taxi-takeoff, and landing (TTOL) and during flight. In embodiments, the monuments (100, 200, 300) include storage compartments, direct access to an exterior window, tray table assemblies, etc. In embodiments, the monuments (100, 200, 300) are configured to be positioned adjacent to at least one aisle for accessibility, and to a seat row including a passenger seat reserved for a caregiver. The monuments disclosed herein enhance the travel experience for a passenger with reduced mobilities (PRM), as well as increase flexibility in cabin designs.

摘要: The present disclosure provides configurations of columns (200, 302, 304) of lie flat passenger seats for an aircraft cabin. Each column includes a first row (100, 306), such as a front row, including at least one oblique seat (104a, 104b, 308), a second row (202a, 316a) including at least one forward facing seat (206a, 206b, 320), and at least one further row (204a, 202b, 204b, 318a, 316b, 318b) including at least one forward facing seat (206a, 206b, 208a, 208b, 320). None of the seat rows, other than the first rows, include an oblique seat. Each seat is configured to adjust between an upright condition and a lie flat condition, nest with at least one other seat, and utilize a forward footwell (110) formed in a console associated with another seat or a monument. The oblique first row provides a space savings in the cabin configuration as compared to conventional configurations wherein all seats are oriented forward facing.
