Abstract:
The invention relates to copolymers made from (a) at least one monomer M1 of formula (I), where R 1 stands for an organic group comprising a (meth)acryl group, R 2 , R 3 and R 4 stand, independently from one another, for a hydrogen atom or a C1 to C10 alkyl group; and (b) at least one ethylenically unsaturated radical monomer M2 that can be copolymerised, which are different from monomers M1. The invention also relates to two-component adhesives which contain the copolymers and a multifunctional hardener. The copolymers and the two-component adhesives can be used as laminating adhesives.

The invention relates to the use of cyclic carbonates of formula I or mixtures thereof in epoxy resin compositions, and epoxy resin compositions that contain such cyclic carbonates. In said formula R 1 and R 2 represent, independently of one another, hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 5 -C 6 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl or C 2 -C 6 -alkinyl, or R 1 and R 2 together represent a C 3 -C 11 -alkylene group; R 3 and R 4 represent, independently of one another, hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 5 -C 6 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl or C 2 -C 6 -alkinyl, or R 3 and R 4 together represent a C 4 -C 6 -alkylene group; or mixtures thereof, as an additive in epoxy resin compositions.

The invention relates to a method for removing at least one first substance from a mixture that contains the at least one first substance and at least one second substance. Said method comprises the following steps: (A) contacting the mixture containing at least one first substance and at least one second substance with at least one surface-active substance, optionally in the presence of at least one dispersant, the surface-active substance binding to the at least one first substance, (B) optionally adding at least one dispersant to the mixture obtained in step (A) to obtain a dispersion, (C) treating the dispersion obtained in step (A) or (B) with at least one hydrophobic magnetic particle so that the at least one first substance to which the at least one surface-active substance is bound and the at least one magnetic particle are added thereto, (D) removing the addition product obtained in step (C) from the mixture by applying a magnetic field, (E) breaking down the removed addition product obtained in step (D) to obtain the at least one first substance and the at least one magnetic particle as separate entities.

The invention relates to epoxy resin compositions, containing a) epoxy resins and b) at least one 2-oxo-[1,3]dioxolane derivative of formula (I), wherein one or two of groups R1 to R4 stand for an electron withdrawing organic group having 1 to 20 C atoms or an electron withdrawing heteroatom and the other groups R1 to R4 stand independently of one another for an H atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 C atoms.
