The invention relates to a composition comprising 5 - 50 % in wt. calcium silicate hydrate, 10 - 60 % in wt. of at least one water-soluble, acid-group containing polymer, comprising polyether groups and 5 - 40 % in wt. of at least one polyalkylene glycol ether. The invention also relates to a method for producing said composition and to cementitious mixtures comprising the composition. Another aspect of the invention is the use of the claimed composition in cementitious mixtures, for accelerating the temporal deconvolution of the dispersing effect of the acid-group containing polymers after the addition of the mixing water and the subsequent accelerated setting of the mixture.

The present invention relates to a composition comprising (α) at least one inorganic binder and (β) at least one water-soluble copolymer based on (a) 0.1 to 20 wt% of at least one monomer of the formula (I) and (b) 25 to 99.9 wt% of at least one hydrophilic monomer (b) which is different from monomer (a), where the at least one copolymer has a molar mass average M of 1 500 000 to 30 000 000 g/mol. Furthermore, a process for producing this composition is disclosed. A further aspect of the present invention is the use of the copolymer of component (β) as rheological additive in a composition of the invention.

The invention concerns a composition containing a) 2 to 80 weight % of Ordinary Portland Cement with respect to the total weight of the composition b) 2 to 80 weight % of a calcium sulphate based binder with respect to the total weight of the composition, with the proviso that the weight ratio of a) Ordinary Portland Cement to b) calcium sulphate based binder is from 95/5 to 5/95 and c) at least one retarder for calcium sulphate based binders, the retarder being a chemical structure, which comprises from 3 to 70 amino acids. Also concerned is the use of the compositions for self levelling underlayments, tile adhesives, non-shrink grouts, floor screeds and repair mortars.
