摘要: The present invention provides to an exhaust gas purification that has: a base 11 of wall flow structure having inlet side cells 12 in which an end 13 on the exhaust gas inflow side is open and outlet side cells 14 in which an end 15 on the exhaust gas outflow side is open, and a porous partition wall that partitions the inlet side cell and the outlet side cell; and a first catalyst layer 20 and a second catalyst layer 30 disposed in the interior of the porous partition wall 16 so as to be in contact with the inlet side cells 12 and the outlet side cells 14, wherein either one of the first catalyst layer 20 and the second catalyst layer 30 contains an oxidation catalyst but does not contain a reduction catalyst, and the other one contains the reduction catalyst but does not contain the oxidation catalyst; and a ratio of the lengths of the first catalyst layer 20 and the second catalyst layer 30 differs between a surface of the porous partition wall 16 on the side in contact with the inlet side cells 12 and a surface on the side in contact with the outlet side cells 14.

摘要: An exhaust gas purification catalyst is provided that has an excellent exhaust gas purification performance while suppressing pressure loss increases. The exhaust gas purification catalyst 10 is provided with a substrate having a wall-flow structure and having a partition 26; a first catalyst layer 261 formed, in a region of an interior part of the partition 26 that is in contact with an entrance cell 24, along the extending direction of the partition 26 from an exhaust gas inflow-side end 24a for less than the total length L w of the partition 26; and a second catalyst layer 262 formed, in a region of an interior part of the partition 26 that is in contact with an exit cell 25, along the extending direction of the partition 26 from the exhaust gas outflow-side end 25a for less than the total length L w of the partition 26. The first catalyst layer 261 and the second catalyst layer 262 are configured to partially overlap with each other in the extending direction.

Exhaust gas purification catalyst 10 comprises a substrate having a wall-flow structure with partition wall 12, upstream coating section formed in portions of partition wall 12 facing entrance cell 24, from exhaust inlet-side end 24a in the extending direction of partition wall 12, and downstream coating section formed in portions of partition wall 12 facing exit cell 25, from exhaust outlet-side end 25a in the extending direction, having a length shorter than the entire length L w of the partition wall. In downstream coating section 28, a catalytic metal is concentrated in the surface layer in contact with exit cell 25.

In a second area Y, the first catalyst 30 is not provided, the second catalyst 50 is disposed in a region including at least a part inside the partition wall 12, the part facing the first cell, and the partition wall 12 with the second catalyst 50 disposed in the partition wall 12 is permeable to gas. In a third area Z, any of the first catalyst 30 or the second catalyst 50 is not provided, and the partition wall 12 is permeable to gas.

摘要: Provided is a wall-flow-type exhaust gas purification catalyst with an oxygen storage material that has an increased OSC and exhibits its OSC without a compromise. This invention provides an exhaust gas purification catalyst 10 comprising a wall-flow-type substrate, a first catalytic layer 261 and a second catalytic layer 262. The first catalytic layer 261 is provided to an internal portion of a partition wall 26 in contact with an entrance cell 24. The second catalytic layer 262 is provided to an internal portion of a partition wall 26 in contact with an exit cell 25. Each of the first and second catalytic layers 261 and 262 comprises an oxygen storage material. The ratio (D 1 /D 2 ) of the coating density D 1 of the first catalytic layer 261 to the coating density D 2 of the second catalytic layer 262 is 1.1 to 1.8.
