摘要:
The present disclosure relates to an endoluminal prosthesis (10), such as a stent graft that includes one or more fenestrations (12) to accommodate endovascular disease, such as an aneurysm in cases where one or more side branches is involved. In one embodiment, the prosthesis (10) includes fenestrations (12) that are pivotable to accommodate the dynamic geometry of the aortic branches. In another embodiment, the pivotable fenestrations (12) include a first perimeter (26), a band (28) of flexible material attached and surrounding the first perimeter (26), a second perimeter (30) attached to and surrounding the band (28) of flexible material and a support frame (48) disposed about a surface of the band (28) of flexible material. The first perimeter (26), band (28) of flexible material, and second perimeter (30) have a geometric shape. The support frame (48) includes a plurality of support units (50) having curved segments (54). The curved segments (54) of the support units (50) may be concave with respect to an exterior surface of the prosthesis (10).

An endoluminal prosthesis (210; 310), such as a stent graft that includes one or more fenestrations (212, 238; 312) to accommodate endovascular disease, such as an aneurysm in cases where one or more side branches is involved. In one aspect, the prosthesis includes fenestrations (212; 312) that are pivotable to accommodate the dynamic geometry of the aortic branches. In another aspect, the pivotable fenestrations (212; 312) include a first perimeter (226; 326), a band of flexible material (228; 328) attached and surrounding the first perimeter (226; 326), and a second perimeter (230; 330) attached to and surrounding the band of flexible material (228; 328). The first perimeter (226; 326), band of flexible material (228; 328), and second perimeter (230; 330) have a geometric shape. In one aspect, the prosthesis (210; 310) includes at least three pivotable fenestrations (212; 312).

A system includes an endoluminal prosthesis (100) and a guide wire (150). The prosthesis may include a tubular body (101) including a graft material wall, a proximal end opening, a distal end opening, and a lumen extending longitudinally therein. The prosthesis may include first and second fenestrations (110, 120) in the graft material wall. The first and second fenestrations may be spaced from one another circumferentially about the tubular body. The guide wire may have a first end and a second end (152, 154) both extending from a region proximal of the proximal end opening. The guide wire may enter the proximal end opening, exit the first fenestration, partially traverse an exterior surface of the prosthesis, enter the second fenestration, and exit the proximal end opening. No portion of the guide wire may extend distally beyond the distal end opening.

An endoluminal prosthesis (100) may include a tubular main body (110) and a branch (130). The main body may include proximal and distal end openings, a lumen (113), a sidewall (114), and a fenestration (126) in the sidewall. The branch (130) may include a tubular retrograde branch segment (142), a tubular antegrade branch segment (152), and a tubular branch junction (132). The retrograde branch segment (142) may include an inlet opening fluidly coupled to the fenestration (126) of the main body (110) and an outlet opening fluidly coupled to the branch junction and positioned longitudinally between the proximal end opening and the fenestration of the main body (110). The antegrade branch segment (152) may include an inlet opening fluidly coupled to the branch junction (132) and an outlet opening positioned longitudinally distal of the inlet opening of the antegrade branch segment (152). The retrograde branch segment (142) and the antegrade branch segment (152) may be in fluid communication with one another through the branch junction.

摘要:
A stent-graft comprises a substantially tubular graft material, and a stent (20) coupled to the graft material. The stent (20) has proximal and distal ends (22,24) and further has compressed and deployed states. The proximal end (22) is disposed proximally beyond a proximal edge of the graft material, and the distal end (24) has at least one portion overlapping with the proximal edge of the graft material. In one example, the stent (20) comprises at least one distal apex (62a) having a bifurcation extending into first and second leg regions (70, 80). A distal end of the first leg region (70 is positioned to overlap the graft material at a location circumferentially spaced apart from a location at which a distal end of the second leg region (80) overlaps the graft material in the deployed state.

An endoluminal prosthesis includes a tubular main graft body (20) including a sidewall and proximal and distal ends with a first stent (30a) positioned near the proximal end of the main graft body, a second stent (30b) positioned adjacent to and distal of the first stent and an opening (50) in the sidewall positioned longitudinally between a peak of the first stent and a valley of the second stent. A tubular branch (60) is disposed in the opening and is flexibly orientable between a retrograde configuration in which a first end opening is oriented toward the distal end and a second end opening is oriented toward the proximal end and an antegrade configuration in which the first end opening is oriented toward the proximal end and the second end opening is oriented toward the distal end.
