摘要:
A fine powder of a molten high-molecular-weight fluororesin having a melt viscosity of 108-1013 P, an apparent density of 0.4-1.5 g/cc, and a specific surface area of 2 m2/g or less. A molded article produced from this fluororesin, which has not been utilized heretofore, is reduced in the bleeding of particles, particularly suitable for use in a semiconductor making process, and capable of improvement in bending fatigue resistance, wear resistance, and so forth.
摘要:
A process for the polymerization which comprises polymerizing batchwise at least one gaseous or super-critical fluorinated olefin monomer or a monomer mixture of the olefin monomer with other monomer copolymerizable with the olefin monomer in an aqueous medium while diffusing the olefin monomer or monomer mixture into the medium, wherein the quantity of the monomer or monomer mixture diffused in the medium prior to the polymerization is at least 80 % of the theoretical consumption of the monomer or monomer mixture which must be found if the polymerization occurs at a theoretical rate of polymerization. The process can attain a high rate of polymerization with the rate of polymerization being determined not by the diffusion of the monomeric gas.
摘要:
A process for fluoropolymer production which is effective in improving the productivity of the emulsion polymerization method while maintaining the excellent material properties of the fluoropolymer, which comprises: (a) a first polymerization step in which a fluoromonomer or a monomer mixture of a fluoromonomer and a nonfluorinated monomer is emulsion-polymerized in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator and an emulsifying agent in an aqueous medium; (b) a dilution step in which the resultant aqueous emulsion of polymer particles is diluted with water to reduce both the number of emulsified polymer particles per unit amount of the aqueous medium and the concentration of the emulsifying agent; and (c) a second polymerization step in which the fluoromonomer and/or nonfluorinated monomer is emulsion-polymerized in the diluted emulsion.
