According to the invention, the implemented functionality is divided into a part having user interface sides which communicates with the user interface framework unit, and into a function component part which communicates with the user interface side part and with an application framework unit. The user interface side part is located in the one front-end unit, whereas the function component part is also located there or in another front-end unit or in a multipurpose platform unit that is also connected to said databus. The inventive communications system is to be used, for example, in automobiles.
