    摘要: The invention relates to a vehicle communications system comprising a databus and at least one front-end unit which is connected thereto and which has a user interface framework unit, and comprising at least one terminal which can be operated by a user and which is also connected to said databus. The inventive system also has at least one functionality which is implemented in the system and which can be executed with the aid of the front-end unit and of the terminal. According to the invention, the implemented functionality is divided into a part having user interface sides which communicates with the user interface framework unit, and into a function component part which communicates with the user interface side part and with an application framework unit. The user interface side part is located in the one front-end unit, whereas the function component part is also located there or in another front-end unit or in a multipurpose platform unit that is also connected to said databus. The inventive communications system is to be used, for example, in automobiles.
