    Abstract: The invention relates to a duplexer, which is constructed from ceramic microwave resonators and whose ceramic base body is provided with a metallic shielding structure. Said structure comprises at least one end plate that is provided over the end face of the base body, an upper shielding bracket and at least one lower shielding bracket.     Abstract: The aim of the invention is to integrate an LTCC balun in the microwave ceramic body of a duplexer without increasing the total height of said duplexer. To achieve this, the height of the ceramic body in the vicinity of the RX filter is reduced to a surface area that corresponds to the size of the LTCC balun. A compact component, which can deliver a symmetrical output signal for the RX path without a volume increase, is thus obtained without modification to the characteristics of the TX filter.
