The invention relates to a transmitter device for a closed hydraulic system for vehicles comprising a handlebar, said device comprising a pressure chamber (61) wherein hydraulic liquid is pressurised when the transmitter device is actuated in order to actuate a receiving device, a hydraulic line connection element (10) comprising a connection piece (11) for connecting a hydraulic line (1) and a thread section (14) for screwing into a base body (80) of the transmitter device, and a ventilation opening (87) for ventilating the hydraulic system. The hydraulic line connection element and the base body form a valve that closes the connection between the pressure chamber and the ventilation opening when the hydraulic line connection element is fully screwed in.
