In order to improve a rotary actuating element for a vehicle with handlebar steering, in particular rotary actuating element for controlling the operating state of the vehicle, comprising a gripping element (20) which is mounted on a handlebar (12) so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation (18) and has a gripping portion (22), on which an operator's hand rests, and an actuating portion (32), which is arranged in a rotary actuating housing (40) held non-rotatably on the handlebar, in such a manner that the operation of said actuating portion cannot be impaired by environmental effects, such as moisture, dirt or the like, it is proposed that the actuating portion (32) has at least one pressure element (124, 126, 128) which is movable on a path about the axis of rotation (18) and is pressurized spring-elastically, and that a non-rotatably arranged functional unit is arranged in the housing (40), said functional unit having at least one sensing path (146, 148) which extends in an interior of the functional unit and in an area and along which, by pressurization by means of the pressure element (124, 126, 128) and depending on the location of the pressurization by the pressure element (124, 126, 128), various values of an electric control variable can be sensed.

The invention relates to a transmitter (1) for a hydraulic actuating element, comprising a cylinder (100) in which a piston (30) is mounted in a displaceable manner, comprising a hand lever (130) with which the position of the piston (30) in the cylinder (100) can be influenced, and comprising a fixing element (110) which has a clamping part (110) that is shaped in a complementary manner with respect to the inner cross-section (20) of the handlebar (2), said clamping part being equipped to be fixed in the handlebar (2) by means of an internal clamping. The invention further relates to a transmitter (1) in which the hand lever (130) and the piston (30) are connected by a plunger (40) that has a first longitudinal portion (401), said longitudinal portion being provided with an outer thread which engages into an inner thread on the hand lever (130) such that the distance between the piston (30) and the hand lever (130) can be adjusted by rotating the plunger (40), and the plunger (40) has a second longitudinal portion (402) which is provided with a polygonal outer cross-section and which sits against at least one second spring element (45). Finally, the invention relates to a transmitter (1) in which a wiper lip (301) of the piston (30) made of a plastic material outwardly seals the cylinder (100), said wiper lip being integrally joined to the piston (30).

A connection element (20) is disclosed for connecting a hydraulic pipe to brake pliers, a brake cylinder, a slave cylinder and/or a master cylinder for a hydraulic brake and/or hydraulic clutch, in particular for motorcycles and/or bicycles. The connection element (20) has a fastening section (20A) for fastening the hydraulic pipe to the connection element (20), and a connection section (20B) for connecting the connection element (20) to the element of the hydraulic system. The connection section (20) has a ring-shaped zone (24) and at least one extension (25) that extends away from the ring-shaped zone (24), substantially to the side of the ring plane.

The invention relates to a brake cylinder (100) and a hydraulic rim brake comprising a unit for receiving a brake pad (103). With known brake cylinders it is difficult to disassemble the running wheel if the tire mounted on the wheel rim (6) is significantly wider than the wheel rim (6) since the wheel has to be moved through the gap between the two brake pads arranged on the brake cylinders. The aim of the invention is to provide a brake cylinder which has a simple structure and permits easy disassembly of the running wheel. To this end the brake cylinder (100) has a connecting member (302) for mounting said brake cylinder (100) on a frame part (2') in such a way that it is able to pivot about an axis situated substantially orthogonally to the element for receiving the brake pad (103).
