    摘要: A hydraulic continuously variable speed transmission comprises a hydraulic closed circuit for hydraulically connecting a hydraulic pump (P) and a hydraulic motor (M), a direct clutch valve (DC) place in the closed circuit to block it, a speed reduction ratio control actuator (30,50) to control the speed reduction ratio, a direct clutch actuator for moving said direct clutch valve from a full-­open position to a full-closed position, ratio detecting means which detects the speed reduction ratio and valve position detecting means which detects position of the direct clutch valve to find if the direct clutch valve is moved to a slight-open position. The direct clutch valve is moved quickly from the full-open position to the slight-open position when it is found by the ratio detecting means that the speed reduction ratio has become "1", and then the direct clutch valve is moved slowly from the slight-open position to the full-closed position when it is found that the direct clutch valve has been moved to the slight-­open position.

    摘要: A method of controlling speed reduction ratio for a continuously variable speed transmission comprises a running mode control method which is carried out when an accelerator opening is opened, an engine brake mode control method which is carried out when said accelerator opening is substantially closed and a transient control method which is carried out over a predetermined period of time (TEB) when the control is shifted from a state under the engine brake mode control to a state under the running mode control. The transient control method comprises the steps of obtaining a corrected R-REF engine speed immediately after the shift to the running mode control (S4,S6), by adding a difference (OFFSET) between the actual engine speed and the R-REF engine speed to the R-REF engine speed set corresponding to the current accelerator opening, obtaining a further corrected R-REF engine speed during a predetermined period of time (TEB) following the shift (S11,S6), by adding a correction which is obtained by gradually decreasing the speed difference with time (S9,S10,S11) to the R-REF engine speed, and controlling the speed reduction ratio (57) so that the actual engine speed coincides with the corrected R-REF engine speed over the predetermined period of time.

    摘要: Throttle control system for a vehicular internal combustion engine equipped with a stepper motor connected to a throttle valve provided at an engine air intake passage, wherein the position (the opening degree) of the throttle valve is controlled by the stepper motor in response to the vehicular engine operation. Various throttle positions are once determined including positions for engine idling (S18) and vehicle cruising (S24) and the largest of the positions is selected (S28) for optinally satisfying the whole operating condition. In a first embodiment, when the engine is idling, the throttle valve is controlled such that engine speed converges toward a target speed. In another embodiment, the stepper motor is varied its pulse rate and chopping duty for optimal control of the throttle position according to the vehicular engine operation.
